3.13 Launch Delayed until January

I find it a tragicomically bad decision, which comes after an epic design fail of a league. I wonder what is going on in GGG. Chinese pressure?, development fatigue?.

Lets see if Cyberpunk get delayed further what the next excuse will be.
Seems like path of exile forum is just another place to advertise new games now
I don't have a computer that can run Cyberpunk.....

So you delayed for another game in the hopes that enough of your player base has a computer that can run that game. Also that all your player base even wants to play that game.

This is the most confusing thing I've ever seen tbh. Delay it to make the league better but you actually said it was because of another game. A first-person RPG and you make an old school action RPG.

what? who the fk cares about cyberpunk?

+1

+1

I stopped caring around 1990, so +30 (1 for each year).

So we've got flat indifference covered. All we need is to add some increased indifference and we'll have a halfway decent item...

Not nice GGG!

December release is the only one in the year that is around the vacation time of many people, there is no need to take extra days to play. Now it is delayed to a time where everyone other than the fulltime streamers need to hope getting some extra vacations.
And you can't even give us a release date?
What?!

Why this particular game? I've never heard of it!

Lots of people get time off work during December, you're insane.

*EDIT* Wait, is this a Tencent game by any chance?? Are they pulling the strings?

No, it isn't.

Ok thanks.

I don't understand why GGG are playing second fiddle to this game then, or any other for that matter.
Holding back an Arpg for a first person shooter?

I don't think people who play PoE Leagues care for Cyberpunk 2077, it is a totally different kind of game. Those who do want to try that can still do it without PoE being delayed. And these will be the people who don't go too far in the league anyway, playing it very casually. I imagine.

Anyway, okay, we will have one month to play in standard instead I guess. And those who do go crazy on league I guess won't feel like they're losing league time when travelling for holidays lol.

We do not want to put our players in a position of having to choose between these two games

Yeah, because every single PoE player is just oozing at the mouth for CyberPunk's release! Because it's a direct competitor, and even in the same genre!

A lot of players play multiple genres, I would say the majority do. I and many people in my POE Guild pre-purchased CyberPunk as well as many people I know. So yes, I think it will have a pretty sizeable impact on POE at their launch. Not to mention it is one of the most hyped games to come out in a pretty good while, that is not part of an existing franchise. People love fresh games and ideas.

You heard it here first folks. Your guild represents the majority of players for PoE!

That makes no sense, in fact, I feel like I've gone off the deep end having to reply to this

Shocker incoming: The majority of players for PoE like hack and slash style games!
