Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

No more chest and door leagues ok ?

This is very direct and fair. Many of our players forget the fact that the game is made by human too. And like us they have had a terrible year, to say the least, so they deserve some rest. Furthermore, running a gaming business in this weird time is not fun and/or easy, as I know of. So I'm fully supporting this decision, giving me more time to do something else while waiting. IDK? family time?

its a sound, grounded in reality decision, no not everyone will be playing Cyberpunk 2077, but every streamer in the universe will be. POE needs the ATTENTION it deserves and a January start sounds fine by me.

That's all fine and dandy and I totally agree with not releasing in december because I am sure you guys want to avoid situations like betrayal again.

However, what most players have a hard time to understand is : why is it acceptable to delay a league because an other game is comming out at the same time as yours but releasing a league in the state that Heist was is considered ok?

I think most of us appreciate the frankness of this post.

(Also what about the fabled and-often-requested-through-the-years crafting league with only white drops but 50x the currency drop rate? Voided, clearly)

You could have just said "Fuck it, I too wanna play Cyberpunk!!" and we'd be cool with it. Also, endless Delve? Hell YEA! Since you're advertising Cyberpunk so much, can we get some cool MTX? Also, was Classic a greater threat than Shadowlands? Shadowlands will open mythic raids on Dec 15th, is that stupid on their part? Guess we will see :)

Thank you for explaining this. I was feeling really bumped and was almost considering writing directly to you to let you know how disappointed I was. But I have to say this post felt like a personal response to my disappointment. I suppose I accept GGG’s decision at this point, albeit with a heavy heart.
