The people that are complaining about Supporter Packs and mtx in general fail to appreciate all of the FREE content that is added every league. The core game is the best it has ever been. It may be faster and easier, but it still rewards time investment.
The Supporter Packs are great value if you want to get some points to buy some stash tabs or other mtx sets. The mtx store can be completely ignored if you just want to play the game. |

" 480$ is a lot of money, yes, even more so outside of wealthy countries. But, say the 240$ for the Harvest one, now with t-shirt and hoodie that is way more justified. you would spend 100$+ alone on those two items if they were purchasable in merchandise store, 140$ for 2400 points and quite a bit of different MTX on top is not that much. Things are out of whack in terms of electronic goods and stuff, globally. My 9 YO son wanted some stuff for school from one of the streamers he likes (content approved for his age). 60$ for the backpack, 10$ for something, 15$ for something else, ended up with like 100$ for few items. Not saying everyone should be buying core or any other supporter packs because if it feels too expensive for said person, it is definitely too expensive. But PoE is global, and there is a list of countries where 60$ every 3 months or 500$ a year is not that much for a hobby. Like I said in previous post, I used to spend 20$ a day on cigarettes alone. Obviously people outside of those countries are in disadvantage, but similar narrative goes to every aspect of their lives including housing, clothing, social care etc, and having free - constantly updated - game is actually sort of a good thing. I had this conversation back in a days on a forum of other game I used to play, they were saying that PoE is not free to play because if you are playing it for free, someone else is paying for it. And that is actually true, folks who spend money on this game sort of provide for free gaming experience for all of those who cannot afford it. These are... fine. Harvest is the one I like best. But my wallet is safe; having these packs in a series rather than available individually just feels bad. Players shouldn't have to buy something they don't want just to get something they do.

I remember contacting them about some physical items from previous core packs, by accident I opted out of one of them without realizing and few months later I was concerned about the item arrival. It was all resolved. Their customer support is awesome. Last year I made double purchase of 240$ pack by accident too, no issues on crediting and deducting points. Persistence makes impossible possible, possible likely and likely definite. Yep, Mirror will drop eventually -_-

Looks really cool. I like the apparition the small map device gets. What happens when you use the all 6 random portal option and multiple of these portals are chosen though?
