" Thank you TerrorZone! Yes, overall you can use many minions and need 4 for the guardian-onslaught-ascendancy-buff. The spiders are used for clearspeed in maps and against bosses to apply 15 withers with multistrike for much HoA-damage. Because they are immortal like HoA and cannot take damage, they are useable without added defences against bosses. Great alternatives like phantasms (best with "blessed rebirth" on one cluster against bosses) or anomalous (vaal) skeletons are shown in "tipps for levelling and leaguestart", there in the spoiler "spiders and withers and speed". For Zombies a hungry loop is needed for minion-defences, or they die quick in aoe and against bosses. You can also run HoP (see spoiler "variations" at the bottom of the build), best with different socket colours and rings circles of guilt and a different helmet-enchant and other medium clusters (blessed rebirth, renewl) and more minion-masteries. There is also one HoP-tree in the pob-menue. "HoP+phantasms-variation-divine shield". " HoA is very nice for fast starting. But dagger and shield (and also sometimes ring or amulet) are probably very expensive like in the last leaguestarts, you need to build around with the much cheaper variations when you don't farm currency very well. With phantasms in the HoA-supports and budget gear you are fast mapping and with some cheap stuff and clusters early in red t16. There are faster mappers and cheaper leaguestarters out there without arakaali's fang. I personally always say, that Hoa is also perfect with cheap gear and many reach lvl 100 on low budget and there are always HoA-Arachnophobiatics in the top leading positions also at leaguestart, but you need some experiences how to use the variations and how to balance mana and auras for defences and all other components for HoA-damage. Many take dominating blow or perhaps absolution or also holy relic as guardians in the first weekend. With the new 3.19 clayshaper perhaps golems are grreat too - but probably not cheap. i searched and didn't find your review about the 3.19 changes in Guardian's Arachnophobia, what buffs and nurfs did we have? In the last league (3.18) I set up an Arachnophobia worth 90ex, I played a little and gave up because the arcemesis mods were giving me one shoot on almost all maps, and I was at 90% all res and physical, I know it changed the mods for 3.19, but I'm afraid to try the build again, I would like your opinion to encourage me to try again in 3.19, thanks for your attention. I've been reading the necro guide and I really wanted to try it, I've already done the guardiam version in 3 call, would you advise me to try the necro version since I already have some experience with the guardiam version? obs: sorry for my english, it's not my native language. " Hi radius! Wish you a wonderful summer and good loooot again! Mmmhmm, overall in my own experiences it was the most tanky set-up ever of the All-stars with melding of the flesh and against heavy dot the 100% ailments immunities and the new lethe shade. There were 2 archnemesis-mobs of hundreds multiple rippy in my encounters. In the first days there were more probably before the hotfixes/ patches. When you stack altars multiple times it can mount up to thousands % of damage or the exarchs are without ignite immunities heavy and cold-dot was sometimes critical too. But with all defences the build was unkillable, absolute immortal in all ordinary content. I facetanked memory-games and ueber-atziri, the feared and shaper-beam, uber-sirus' all attacks and uber-shaper's slam. But full builded up uber-Bosses remain not easy without mageblood. All down without mageblood, but until now not deathless. So I am not sure - when it was before the patches there were mobs with more damage as maven's memory game, yes. I guess it was more dot and degen - there is melding of the flesh and lethe shade most tanky. With purity if ice "reduced aura effect" is now dangerous. Go without melding/ purity or be extreme careful. On page 427 and at the top of the new Necro-build I wrote about 3.19. There are so many new possibilities in 3.19 with the new uniques. Though decision! Overall we are buffed in damage and nerf to the melding of flesh is okay with our full spellblock and defensive layers. 4th time guardian is much, hehe! This build need a complete revamp of a first page. There are a lot of outdated or just unneeded blocks and it's quite hard to find anything in these tons of texts, spoilers and blocks. Page 50 is much worse - extremely hard to find anything you need.
Why not make a short version? With gear block, tree block, gems, leveling guide. Will be very nice to see this without all useless blocks ^^ Also, how to use melding of the flesh? I played this build in Scourge - it was very hard to keep resistances. And with -70%-80% to all of them... 240 more resistances? O_O | |
" Hi Ksakep! Perhaps, perhaps not. Of course you are in invited to simply copy the pob or follow the tl;dr. like in other builds. But to be honest - in some moments playing poe you are interested in maxing your skills or in knowings about mechanics of the game. So I agree - that was not my goal to publish a quick one. It's also the reason for the popularity and success of the build. And the reason why you can reach lowbudget top rankings in the leaderboard with it or fullgeared tank maven's memory game or go for 40/40 - it's because you find the mechanics, variations and workarounds in the guide and pob too. And don't worry, it's here not about easy 100k or 500k ehp of other common builds, here in this build it's about 5M - 18M - infinitive ehp with not so bad 11M-21M-120M damage. For the melding of the flesh for example - it's a jewel, so visit the spoiler "jewels and clusters". There you can detect that the title of one spoiler is named "the melding of the flesh" and you find right there some clever answers to your question. Looks like they buffed this build also a little? As the gem now gives 4% attackspeed per Virulence and it was 3%. Or is the difference very minimal?

I wonder how first 2 weeks will look like in terms of economy. I will probably skip league if I will be forced to farm some sic (for casual) currency to get Aegis + Araakali. Arakaali was cheap last league (25-40c in first 2 weeks), but Aegis sky-rocketed.
As always - good starting strat is hunting for cheap "cannot be chilled" boots. Lots of people unveil for mods and just drop items to the stashtab. 100ES / 28% movement speed / T1 Lighnting rez / Cannot be chilled and 1 open mod (for crafting chance to avoid elements or bleeding) was available for 5c. |
