where is tytykiller? you can actually learn something from him unlike some others

Tyty is that kept in the basement child of GGG. You shall not speak his name LOL.

I think they just don't consider him top 1% as he hardly ever beats kitava.

Enough joking. I would love to support tyty as well but he doesn't wear any mtx as most of the time he is just speed running. I think he does enjoy some of the armours tho and I would de more than happy to see him included.
Stashtabs would be nice.
I'd feel really good buying this if the streamer got 50%! That would feel like more of a win/win than $3.50 which is even less than a Twitch sub :(

Still, it's better than nothing and it's good you're supporting creators in a small way :) If I buy any of these sets, I'll be sure to make use of this!

If you know about economics and business, it cannot be that high, as the streamer is not the creator of said business. This is a standard affiliate % payout in any industry.

That is also a % that they would not of had, were they did not create an affiliate opportunity to get a portion of the purchase as pure profits.

The basics in business is to up you. Your potential profit percentage is to become more valuable to the marketplace. GGG has done an incredible job in this regard and thus deserve everything that they ask for.

In conclusion, they are giving streamers an opportunity to get supported, in a % off the products that GGG has created for the marketplace.

I trust this provides some clarity and understanding from a business point of view.

Yeah that makes sense but I just don't see the value of this when I can donate $5 to my favorite streamers and get a supporter pack that gives me way, way more value for my dollar.

Maybe not everyone thinks of it in this way IDK. Personally, I don't see any 'feel good' value in this armour set deal for the streamer or myself.

Now, if GGG allowed supporter packs to be affiliated that would be something. Easier for streamers to promote because the value of a supporter pack is clear as day and they would also get a small percentage back in return.

Yeah, looks like double yikes.

First GGG shown price of MTX in $ and even though conversion rate is straight forward that still rubbed people wrong way.

Second it's just bad deal for consumer. As you mentioned - most people buy MTX from points they get from supporter pack and it's much better value for consumer. And as for streamer, if someone wanted they could just donate to directly. Though it's still net positive for streamers because it brings up idea of supporting streamer once more.

Why don't you guys go a better route and give your streamers access to free items to boost their view count? Plenty of services do this. Watch every hour for a %chance to get X item via twitch.

Why are you guys trying to double dip this? You owe your streamers a lot.

Stupid.

F streamers and game devs that support or cater only to them.

Streamers are a plague on gaming. They do nothing good for gaming period.

Going to have to disagree there.

There are some real decent content creators/streamers who act(are themselves fairly normal and down-to-earth) that make good guides and go into detail explaining things about the game.

Albeit I can see it from your side if you've only ever watched or subbed to some of the more out there obnoxious ones.

There is problem with streamers. Playing the game is literally their job and they can afford to play ridiuclous ammount of time and they do it for a long time. That influences how they see the game and they easily get out of touch.

And they perpetuate their unfiltered often absolutely ridiculous opinions through their streams sometimes reaching thousands of people, Podcasts (they even have Chris and GGG people on Baeclast) then people who heard something from them perpetuate it on reddit and forums continuing cycle and spreading misfinformation, misconceptions, etc. etc.

And on these podcasts barely ever anyone corrects another person even if something said is absolute nonsense. So it creates echo chambers perpetuating nonsense.

They are probably one of the reasons GGG thought that it's fine to fuck over Community and make game less of what it with Harvest nerfs like that.

North remembers.
