I probably made someone playing this build really happy in league :D Catarina dropped the staff and I unknowingly managed to pick the mods that "seemed good" which fit the BIS outlined in original post!

Can't complain too much though, 10ex made a world of difference to a casual player :P

So I have tried so many different variations of this build so far, and I am struggling with it. I've tried the mapping build, the boss build and, the "extremely tanky build" and I do not feel tanky at all and I cant get the damage with in a light year of build.

Dieing at least once or twice a map to insta gibs is not a fun playstyle. Hell I even ran a test run last night on a t10 map using the "extremely tanky" build, and a rare T10 monster chewed me up and spit me out. I crushed the rest of the map but I had to embarrassingly leave the t10 map rare alive.

What do?

Other then getting popped like a weathered water balloon, loving the build so far. I just want to one shot all the horrible arch nemesis mods, and survive when one loos at me wrong.

1. You need to have at least 6.5K life starting in red maps. There is no way around this as the build uses life to cast spells.

You are also not leeching.

Freestyle isn't the word I would use to describe an almost exact copy.

I copied the tree exactly as you have it. The gear is nearly identical. For the exception of a few pieces I couldn't afford, or aren't available atm, so I am making due with what I have.

Just looking for some pointer on which direction to move towards next as far itemization or passives.

I don't mind giving pointers where to go when the template is already applied properly but these are pretty obvious differences which weren't included in the guide.

I actually lost quite a bit of hp swapping into the EXTREMELY TANKY! version. With thread of hope in I had 5600 life.

Also pulled my expensive gems to put back into my other character that can actually do things.

Okay, I see where the confusion might come from and I probably should have been more clear with that PoB.

This PoB is strictly and only for bossing with it being very important that you get exactly the same items and gems because as you see; once you remove the helmet, you lose about 30% of the tankiness while petrified blood helps most of all with tanking boss mechanics. When it comes to survivability in hard maps, it's far worse than what the standard version does.
I'll take the blame for that!

hey there, thank you for the build, it's quite fun and cool. progression so far is mediocre, but hey, played a mage-skelly last league and this was kind of op. still hoping to get the build to a somewhat decent level. as far as I am concerned I got all the build together (mapping version) up to "can do all content now", but damage still is quite low. can somebody quickly check, what i am doing wrong?

also in the upgrade section the amulet is kind of missing, and it's also at least 5ex investment to get it. so no pride until then. but pride would be a really big dps buff. somebody above mentioned switching zealotry for determination. but i feel kind of naked without determination. even with determination i just have about 15k armour.

if you wonder about my annoint: was not sure what to go for (budget), since i don't want to spend gold oils on the crappy amulet i got. so i took some crit multi for now. also wondered about the crit chance of 90% in the pob that you got. i barely touch 50%. something is probably quite wrong in my build.
