Well, you're never going to see another one down there.

I was excited to support this game & company when I played during the open beta and that excitement continued for a VERY long time. I tried standing up, defending the worse and worse MTX practices, the lack of polish, the endless bugs, while I watched more and more of my friends quit.

But you finally did me in last league, GGG. You finally got me to quit.

And while I decorated my fancy house in Elder Scrolls Online on launch night while watching the PoE Reddit burn to the ground, I knew I made the correct choice.

This helps solidify it.

This is garbage. The game I supported in beta would not have done this.

I hope if I come back at some point, I'll be shocked to find a game that finally decided to respect it's players again, but I won't be holding my breath.

These are my thoughts as well, though perhaps a bit less dramatic I guess.

The resounding opinion of people who continue to play this game will be "but it's free! so what?!", but I think a line must be drawn somewhere in order to maintain some form of integrity.

I'm sure GGG knows, and anyone who has bought a supporter pack knows that while this game is free, the mtx swag is very very tantalizing. There's no getting around it, you monetize it because you know it will be bought. We buy it, because it will not be given for free and that creates a strong desire to have it.

I can't get behind some shit like this. The game still offers a tremendous value for those who can truly maintain a f2p mentality. But for someone like me who is a collector by nature, this is very abusive, predatory and cynical.

Stupid as it may seem, weirdly enough, this is where I draw the line.

You could have released the cursors free of charge as a nice gesture and a thank you to all of your customers. This has been a rough league and you made some mistakes, that could have helped smooth things over a bit. But you didn't. No surprise.
