Thank you! :D
A patch AND some acknowledgement of issues being worked on! I'm really happy to see this level of communication making a return. It sounds like you're thinking of adding a background bug detection or new bug reporting feature? Anything along those lines would be very welcome. I look forward to hearing about it! To players: This is GGG extending an olive branch of communication and we MUST treat this with positivity to encourage this to continue going forwards. EVEN IF IT DOESN'T ADDRESS THE THING YOU WANT THEM TO CHANGE! A lot of love has been lost between the community and GGG and we need to work on fixing it. Your particular issues will be heard and addressed more quickly if the discourse encourages engagement by developers. They WANT the game to be a good experience for you. So don't discourage them from learning how to achieve this. |

" It means what it means. The recommended system requirements are available on several websites and steam page as well. Those should be the benchmark they are working with. Just for reference, I'll post them here: Minimum: OS: Windows 7 SP1/Windows 8 Processor: Quad core 2.6GHz x86-compatible Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 650 Ti or ATI Radeon™ HD 7850 DirectX: Version 11 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 40 GB available space Recommended: OS: Windows 10 Processor: Quad core 3.2GHz x64-compatible Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti or ATI Radeon™ RX560 DirectX: Version 11 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 40 GB available space Additional Notes: Solid state storage is recommended I can confirm that the minimum requirements run the game fairly smoothly and don't cause any major issues to gameplay as my setup is old and pretty much exactly what is stated above. No stutter except in delirium maps and this is only a recent issue. some frame drops with crazy juiced maps but it's nothing worth crying my eyes out over when you consider the fact that it's the MINIMUM specs. EDIT: Might as well add the MAC specs to the post since it's an essay already: Minimum: OS: macOS 10.13 Processor: 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Radeon Pro 450 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 40 GB available space Recommended: OS: macOS 10.15 Processor: 2.6GHz hex-core Intel Core i7 Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: Radeon Pro 555X Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 40 GB available space Additional Notes: Solid state storage is recommended Last edited by Incarcerated#2029 on May 18, 2021, 2:35:45 PM

" Pop over to the forums and make a post with your full spec and description. As much info as possible. Driver versions, antivirus and other small but important things can be the culprit so include this info too! Both support and other players will tell you how to go about helping yourself find a solution and if not, they will at least narrow down the possibilities so that the issue can be reproduced and fixed. Posting it here won't get you that help and reduces the likelihood for it to be looked at as an issue by someone at GGG. As someone who used to have massive performance issues issues that were on my end, I can vouch for the good people who post over there. Short term, turn off your sound effects in the config file and see if that helps. Last edited by Incarcerated#2029 on May 18, 2021, 3:16:44 PM

" Oh? Has the engine changed? Has more than 5% of the game been changed or upgraded significantly? Just because time has passed and the game is still relevant doesn't mean that the technology it runs on has developed alongside. Those system requirements are still the relevant benchmarks for this game. And arguably, the game should be running better on those same systems now than ever before due to incremental optimisation updates over the last few years. |

Just that some things now require more of your pc than others, so for example mapping will work fine with a weaker pc but for newer content like delirium, I'm not sure that specs will work for example.
