In PoB -> Calcs tab -> Life, click on Reserved number, you will see MCM (mana cost multiplier) of x3...

In PoB -> Skills tab, hover over Thirst for Blood, you will see Lifetap support. I tested in game as well, if you socket Lifetap support in your axe, you will reserve 30% life.

No the PoB is not update for 3.15. Since there is no skill tree change that affects us, the PoB can continue be used. Keep in mind, I did not create the PoB for this guide, it’s simply the snap shot of my character when I reached level 100. It is not to showcase mirror tier damage. Obviously you would want more block and chaos resist if you can afford it.

For the build’s DPS, PoB can only calculate the average bleeding DPS where in game, your highest bleeding stacks are doing the damage.

1. I think for maximum damage, you want to dual wield and go for Arena Challenger. In order to double cluster, we need to sacrifice either life, block or attack speed and neither is a great choice. Maybe we can drop some physical nodes, I will think about that.

3. Lacerate, Melee Physical, Brutality, Multistrike are staple. Ruthless can no longer support Lacerate. I am using Cruelty and Chance to Bleed. Might go Awakened Deadly Ailments much much later, PoB does not account for Cruelty buff which is very powerful. Fortify is also good but I find its damage too low so I linked it to Leap Slam.

4. This build needs about 10ex to do all end game contents enjoyably. Other than 100% delirium and legion, everything else is very good.

I think Usurper's Penance can be build defining but won't fit into this build easily.

I know the problem he's facing. I actually made the same mistake. He has Leap Slam linked with Lifetap in his axe thus making Thirst for Blood reserve more than it's supposed to. You could put a warning in the guide somewhere about it. It can be an oversight.

But this also means the sockets can be a little wonky because Riposte/Life on Hit can't be moved from the shield. So if you use Jack, the Axe with The Surrender, you would have to move the Leap Slam setup somewhere.

Yes you are correct, Lifetap increases the life reservation multiplier of Thirst for Blood.
