In short this game isn't hard, what is "hard" for players is the continual 1-shot BS this game seems to favour... And I do not know about you, but being 1-shot for no apparent reason isn't fun nor does it make a game "hard"

Reading all of the patch notes I would like to know how many extra skill points are we getting to combat the loss of survivability? Or is the intent of this patch to make the players create multiple characters to combat a certain situation faced in a map? Because come next league there will be no way mitigate the encounter with out 10 mirrors or being a streamer who plays 16hrs a day with 5 of his/her jobless friends?

- Nerfing movement skills isn't a good for the game and a emphases should be put on making them more rewarding for evading enemy attacks.

- There needs to be a rework on defence. As before mentioned getting 1-shot by an off screen bin-chicken isn't fun nor does it make the game "hard" it just forces the community to play 1 style of game play.

- Crafting needs to become more accessible for the common players or an emphases put on rewarding the crafter of an item though a buff or de-gen for someone else who uses that item (GGG should explore this)

- If Crafting won't be improve or the above won't be explored, then please make crafting materials more common so people will be more willing to give it a craft before turning to POE.Trade crafting needs to be more engaging if you're focus is on making it stupidly hard without an taking advantage of an exploit.

- Nerf steamer group play before decimating the average players experience. The buff for a 6 man group should be removed before even considering the changes you're about to make GGG.

I guess we as a community will find something to exploit just to get into red maps this league.

I don't know about the rest of you... But I'm not exactly looking forward to

No but seriously, over the past few years there isn't even a pretense that GGG doesn't simp for Streamers and the 0.01%

This league has already shown itself to be worse than Talisman as the design decisions seem to be going into a death-spiral, as it's actively already making the game worse and you can't just ignore it either.
I went to the Steam statistics, and once again I was convinced that PoE is a game for streamers. See for yourself:

https://steamcommunity.com/stats/PathofExile/achievements/

Mervale is killed by 47% of players, i.e. half of them can't even pass the first act.

Malachaya kills 22%.

Climbing, the maze passes 19.5%

The beginning of the end, level 60 takes 18.1%, i.e. 18% of players still try to play PoE as they can. Let's take this for 100% of those players who did not quit PoE at the first difficulties.

The foot of the mountain-level 70 takes 14.7%, 81% on our scale. It turns out that 19% of those who took 60, no longer take 70.

Up the steps-level 80 takes 10.9%, or 60% of those who took 60. T, i.e. 40% of those who took 60 lvl, no longer take 80.

New Order of the World-Place the Guardian Stone in any area on your Atlas - 8%. Do you understand that only 8% of all players come to the cards? And this is 44% of those who took BGN 60, i.e. more than half of those who took BGN 60 could not enter the cards normally.

There is nowhere higher - the 90th level takes 6% of players, i.e. only 33% of those who were able to take 60 lvl reach 90.

The Creator of worlds-and only 3.2% of players, or 18% of those who took level 60, kill the Creator, i.e. 82% of those who took level 60 did not reach the Creator.

And you know what else is more interesting? 90 lvl takes 6% of players, and the Shaper is killed by 3.2%. It turns out that almost half of those who reach 90 lvl can not kill the Shaper. How do you like this? And, after all, the Shaper is the very first high-level boss. There is no Elder or Sirus in the statistics, and what's new there, Maven? Now think about what percentage of players the development increases the difficulty for. Only 3.2% of players reach the Shaper. BEFORE THE SHAPER!

Atleast we can expect shooth league start, since most of player just skip this one.
Dear GGG, how about making new content harder instead of making players weaker? People usualy dont like to be robbered. I was excited about this league, coz last one was amful, I thought, cmon lightning cant hit twice in same spot. And now i see this. 2nd nerf league in a row. I just dont know how to play this league, coz all of me expecting build are buried. And all this gambling tendances are completely disgusting. Is it Tencent influence to make asian casino from arpg? I have no issues with grinding for gear, but grinding for gambling is terrible and meaningless, atleast for me. I wont waste my time for !chance! to receive decent equip, its like working for a chance to get paid. Yes, i know, i still have harvest nerf flashbacks, but GGG, can you be more casual friendly? Ah, whatever, keep making your game for 1% jobless nolifers, they will buy ur 90$ supporter packs for sure. Coz bunch of 3rd party softwares like pathofbuilding, trademacro, etc is not challenging enough.
Calling it now! Player retention is going to be at an all time low

I wonder how has no other game beaten PoE yet since it had so many downs already
1600 hours on record, I play HCSSF only as it's the mode I feel most rewarding to play. It seems to me that your balance changes never factor in players like me, and that your developers are not even playtesting in Hardcore mode. Unavoidable monster one-shots is and has always been my issue with this game and until it's addressed I'm done with PoE.

Finally. Give me some damn challenge, not this games for babies that like to run on maps with their eyes closed.... About time this game goes back to its roots. League after league it was getting more ridiculous. Slow it, slow player movement, make mobs harder. Make the game viable in coop not a damn rat race on maps we have now. Thank you!

Judging by your account name you're a 32 year old person. How exactly are you going to play so dedicated without being jobless or taken cared of by someone else? You're talking on the behalf of 10-15 year olds or perhaps even younger. The vast majority of people who pay game creator salaries are grown up people with decent income. Your DESIRE for harder game only kills the game. It's not about the difficulty but about enjoyable variety which doesn't overfill your cup.

Playing slower, and continuing to die randomly without knowing what caused it and without being able to clear the screen before the screen clears you, monsters and mechanics out of proportion (made to counter the previous supposedly OP "meta"), and continuing to drop slow currency (99.999% of everything that drops is not even worth looking at).....

GGG, we play fast, we zoom through maps, because that's where the reward is and because if we don't kill first we get killed first. You have to understand slowing us down without bringing the rest of it down is just lame. I'm happy to spend 30 minutes on Sirus if it drops anything interesting and it doesnt DIE BEAM from off-screen! I'm happy to spend 10 minutes clearing carefully and then another 5 minutes on a map boss, as long as it is worth it by being rewarding and being fun and not killing a decent build randomly with zero room for reacting. I'm happy to spend 30 minutes on Maven if she was worth doing and her auto-attack didn't hit for 4k with several projectiles in sequence (kills build with 8k ehp in one cast in melee range with zero room for getting out of it).

GGG, you made it so that we NEED to play glass cannon super fast builds or super expensive tanky HC builds that are very limited and slow. Wanna slow it down you need to fix the stuff that makes us speed it up.

100% agreed. I was hoping and looking forward for GGG to give us a good incentive to play slow but I already had issue with the limited drops last league when the game was fast due to the reduced drop rates of maps. Now this is doubling down on making me grind with no rewards.

While they think this will make me want to play more unfortunately it wont. This is breaking my heart to have to move away from a game that I played and spent money on religiously for about a year and a half.

Sad momnets for casual 2 to 3 hour a day gamers.

Exactly this!
I`ll just put it here
