Seems as if this skill is bugged, or an undocumented change was done:
Before when the player character who has Voltaxic Burst stacks up dies, the spell still triggers explosions when the buff expires even after death. Now when the player character is dead the stacks no longer remain and you get no explosions after death. Never forget the Alt Qual Gem deletion, the Ex > Div swap and loss of various crafting methods.
