The league mechanic is kinda nice and fun so far, but another inventory tetris is so tedious.
Please improve the visual clarity somehow, all those similar looking icons and glowing borders hurt my eyes ;) Also please at least give us 4 extra slots, so we can put the ones aside we wanna run for one map. And once we unlock/find recipes, why is there no overview of it IN GAME, kinda like the menagerie stuff, or better - if you interact with the statues, make an extra side panel with an overview of the already unlocked receipes etc. and when you click on a recipe you wanna do, it highlights the components in the inventory, so we dont have to use ctrl+f all the time or mouse-over all those icons. Actually, all recipe components should look the same, just 1 currency like heist coins. Just fill in the recipe and hit start, and hope to hit the lottery. It’s that simple, no fumbling of stash Tetris, no secret recipes, just straight forward demon slaying in the Sanctuary.

Honestly either a completely secret, not data-mineable system or an ingame recipe browser would have been better. With the current system i feel forced to minimize and study a spread sheet every time my inventory is full and one of the mods that you need for the big recipe i'm going for drops. Going for small recipes would be a lot more enjoyable but knowing how insanely rewarding the big recipes are it feels wasteful to learn and do the small ones.
If we did not know about the giant recipes from the start we could have at least organically learned the basics of the mechanic before feeling pushed towards doing big recipes. Since it's too late for a non data-mineable recipe list, imo an ingame recipe book would be one of the few ways to make the mechanic a little bit enjoyable. But it still wouldn't fix the problem of the mechanic feeling like an inventory management simulator. |

Love the basic game upgrades. Recipe junk needs to improve with a hotfix. Who thought of this garbage mechanic?
