PS4: Can't download PoE without PS Plus

Hi there,
I've had the idea of playing PoE with my PS4, because my gpu won't be supported by win10 anymore and with the iGPU im geht the "createbuffer" Error. But unfortunaly i can't download the game because ist seems to require PS plus. I thought free to Play doesn't require PS plus? Is this intended? Last bumped on Mar 20, 2025, 9:02:18 AM

Thank you, but ist seems that it's not available / possible to download in my country (Germany).
Your link shows that it's available but when i click the button there will be an error message saying something went wrong and i should try again later. Thanks anyway! | |

I've checked into this further for you and to clarify, due to the game's content rating, PS Plus is required for players in Germany to access the game on PlayStation. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I hope this helps to explain the situation for you! | |
" Thats true! I didn't play PoE very much in the last couple of years maybe once or twice a week. But i love it and that's the point of trying it on the ps4. Maybe i try it with PS plus. It's cheaper than a new PC. Thanks JC for the clarification! | |

Hello, I hope this post is not too late but is there a reason why PoE 1 cannot be downloaded for PS4 via Playstation store? I am based in Singapore.
