Challenges in Path of Exile: Sentinel
I love when I have better ideas of Hard Challenges than guys that are doing this...
Seriously, now I have to plan/copy an Immortal Build with Huge Dps... What I hate the most is to being almost forced to copy builds... But, here is my idea what would be some example of a Hard/Fun challenge: - Collect XYZ Unique items by yourself - No trades - Collect XYZ Items by yourself - Kill XYZ number of monsters - Kill (endgame boss) with X skill / using X Unique - Using (class), kill X monsters/bosses / complete (?) mechanic - Craft the following items (list of 20-30 items here) These are just some ideas for Hard, but fun challenges... |

if i cant get the regular armor set in 2,3 weeks casual playing i will quit the game after... which didnt happen before, sometime i played 2,3 months.
So i guess the GGG view and my view for fun is totally different which is sad. majority wont enjoy this. the fun ends usually when u realise you cant achieve something even if you play 5-7hrs day for a month. edit: i dont get the logic behind to make both armor set 'impossible' for regular players? they basically ignore the majority and focus on hardcore gamers in that case Last edited by Joleco#5268 on May 10, 2022, 1:22:09 PM

Nice challenges, but the one of possessed rogue exiles.. this will by pure RNG fest, and of course there will be this one guy who will complete other 39 challenges and will miss one particular rogue exile.
This one is the worst and should be changed. Also for boss challenges - there should be a line "While not in party". |

I have to agree these "harder" challenges are somewhat unbalanced and too RNG based - even for "challenges". For example the harvest boss and Oshabi...maybe there will be a Harvest keystone that will make it a bit less rare?
I also find that these challenges are undeniably contradictory to the idea of giving players more agency (which seemed to me was the main objective of the Atlas passive tree changes), since we won't really be able to choose the mechanics we like the most if we want to reach 38 challenges. Last but not least I'm not sure the idea of giving two almost identical sets is that great. I can undertand the reasoning for that (to avoid the FOMO from those who stop at 24), but I can also see why people won't feel extra motivated to push to 38. "Give up everything in pursuit of Greatness - even Life itself".

some challenges will be so hard, normally when i end the 36/38 challenges i stop play i will not force myself to play to do
