3.18.1c Patch Notes Preview

Guys..

Before the 3.18.1c patch I was delving and didn't have performance issues, when the aforementioned... patch dropped, game became very choppy to the point of making me nauseous so I was a bit upset tbh.

Earlier I logged in and downloaded a really small, or instant patch (steam's auto d/l) and playing now back in the Azurite mines it seems that the lag I was experiencing previously is completely gone, to my excitement.

Thank you for fixing this issue for me and anyone else who might have the same experience.

And good luck to those that still have issues, you will not be forgotten I reckon.

From the mines, I went back to surface and went down in again and it started lagging again but it went away swiftly after. I think this is due to the small patch that things have gotten better if it is totally unrelated to the patch pardon my ignorance. Buffering of textures on the subterranean chart seems also still to be slow with the mine-routes and unless I zoom in and out that doesn't go away the blur on the tracks but... It's okay. Just glad to be able to play again.

My load times are miserable now. Stuttering mush with freezing screens in maps. What just happened? Can we go back 2 days? to what we had before it wasn't great but it was ten times better than after patch.

Every time you say the words texture system I get screwed. Why we doing this?

Guys, this is a performance patch. A netcode performance patch, to be precise. Due to the improvements, many players have decided to take a break from PoE and thus there is a lower burden on the servers => performance for all. /s

PS: please fix.
"texture streaming"... uh oh
still VERY long load times when starting up, and between some zones.
Tonight, after the patch .. it took almost 2 minutes to get into the game.
Game still borderline unplayable from performance standpoint. Game crashing all the time when entering portals/loading maps.
I would like to know, when we will have "deimprovement" to this patch "improvement", cause we need it ASAP. I would like to get back to actualy play the game, still have a lot of challenges to finish.
Tried earlier this day to play, was even able (after 2-3 disconections while trying to even enter town, or hiedout) to finish (barely) few Kirac's Putrid Cloisters. Then tried to run some other map, and...
45 minutes later - after at least 8 consistent disconnections (at least once every time I had to load into a different instance - town, map or even my Hideout) I wasn't EVEN BE ABLE TO ENTER THE MAP! Game haven't even recognised I used any of the portals. Ultimately I lost my map - with all 6 portals still intact to mock me further, when it dissapeared into abyss after me trying for the X time in row to enter deafult town (By the way, why we still can't just load directly into our hideouts instead of those MTX-cluttered towns?).
I was really looking into trying out some of the hardest challenges this league, but now game became literally unplayable. I HOPE it will be resolved quickly (just re-patch into good old 3.18.1B!).
they are worrying about audio for ground effects instead of actually fixing the game and actual bugs.

the fact blights still crash you from touching a pump after 4 leagues
not sure how or why they cannot fix this.

Me and others are having hard crash to desktops with no warning whatsoever. Seems to be effecting AMD users and people with 1060 gpu's more than average.

I crash every 2-3 minutes, no lag or stuttering doesn't matter what i'm doing the game just shuts off.
amd user here, ryzen 1500x and gtx 1060 6gb game is crashing after few minutes every single time
