3.19.0c Patch Notes and Update on Community Feedback

Make harvest great again pls. Its such a good mechanic! and you guys completely destroyed it. I want to do my own items, i dont want to sell my kidneys to buy items from people through trade.
Having fun with building. Maybe its time to lengthen the league so more testing can happen before you go live with a new league? I know you guys want a good league start right?
I'm done with you guys and the way you communicate changes for the game.
This is a huge cap right? Lake drops are still awful (83 lvl zone, diff 12, got 1 binding, 1 chrome, 1 chance, t1 map and few useless rares). But sure, you "Massively increased the chest rewards", right?

Same with normal drops, stil awful

You guys did some changes this patch that made is so that monsters that do not have guaranteed drops give much less of everything. An example is rogue exile, in 3.18 when you killed one, you were showered with rare items, but in 3.19 often times when we kill one, we don't get a single rare item, which was NEVER the case before. Simply having 1 case of not dropping a rare item is enough, but this happens all the time now in 3.19.

Additionally, in a situation where we have an arcanist strongbox "drops 3 additioal items" and only 3 items drop total from it, that means that normally 0 would drop. Again, having 0 items drop from an arcanist strongbox indicates that something is terrible wrong with the code of the drops.

Another example is loot while levelling and loot from regular monsters as part of the map. We get much less minor currency from regular monsters. Stuff like chaos orbs, alchemy orbs, scouring orbs have a decreased drop rate. You guys mentioned that only league specific monsters were touched, but this is simply not true. People right now are struggling on alchemy, scouring, regal orbs in SSF to continue with their map progression. You can argue "well it is because they did not engage with the league mechanic" but in HC most people did not engage with it anyway, yet only this time we don't have enough currency.

There is a 100% certainty that random drops are severely decreased, and you guys not knowing this, makes the community think you don't even play your own game and are out of touch, which causes even more backlash. Every single streamer has noticed how significantly less random loot we get, every single endgame player has noticed, yet the fact the developers haven't noticed it really drives down the vibes of players.


Man, I had 0 loot from delirium mirror. I killed the mobs and had nothing after the mist gone.

The game is totally broken
I'm glad you guys are working on it, I do wanna comment that I'm still getting 0 life force out of some plots in harvest though. It really doesn't feel good that I could walk into an old harvest and at least get 2-3 crafts per plot usually and I'm not even getting 1 and possibly even 0 a lot of the time. I really hate the feeling of blocking harvest because I love the mechanic and the IDEA behind what you did this league is really cool, but it's a really big bummer to see it in such a sorry state right now.

castrated harvest it is now completely useless, especially since its earlier version would give some chance to create interesting items. We don't have the tools and time to create items as before.

Drops
Problem: Players have to much fun
Solution: No drops no fun

Time
A lot of players can't spend as much time as streamers. Even more so after these changes the game requires even more time to achieve anything. Why are you still looking at a fraction of the players? Just because they can get so far in the game doesn't mean that an ordinary player can. I hope that players leaving league to league will finally open your eyes.

Please wake up, open your eyes. Your game is dying, listen to the people. It's not like you know what we want, we know what we want and we talk about it. Listen us. The fact that we play longer does not mean that we will buy mtx. It's a terrible business plan. Give us a game in which we enjoy the game. Then we will start buying mtx.


I've been playing this game for so long and I've never felt so sad. It's comparable to how our beloved dog dies. However, you can still fix it, please do so, please.

p.s you wanted us to play something like Diablo so we will go and play Diablo ...

This has to be a joke. I'm in utter disbelief that you can be that blind and arrogant to not see/listen to the feedback of your own community.

League after league we are receiving non-asked-for changes to the very core of the game which are ruining every single possibility of having fun in POE.

But 3.19 is the climax of over an year process of degradation of the game that I love so much. I started Lake of Kalandra in a group of 7 people, carefully preparing and planning the juicy MF farming for over 3 weeks. We didn't sleep for 2 days in order to get our characters ready for us to see how the very best MF party players just quit the league because of a crucial shadow nerf that WASN'T shown in the patch notes and which broke the entire game.

My entire party just quit the league (including myself) in an utter desperation and sadness as we saw that they game we all love so much just being destroyed and taken from us.

I really hope that such an extreme reaction from the community will finally bring some changes into your philosophy and return fun into POE instead of it being a simulator of suffering.
