Almost every streamer which brings more new players to the game is quitting already, seems like the state of the game is very good i see.

ive been counting rares in maps and running some experiments. looking at the drops they are giving. the game just feels empty and its just a shell of its former glory.

I have zero interest to play. this is definitely the worst league i've ever played. When i played 3.17 i was blow away by the scope of the game, the investment the company had made to make it so engaging, the multiple ways to craft gear... when i got into the cold river map i was like, "holy shit this is the best game ive ever played. its the GOAT."

I dont even know what to say.... whatever has been done since 3.17 just remove it. start again.

is it the fact the GGG team invested so much time and effort into the archnemesis mods and you were all really pumped and thought that everyone would love it and the blood sweat and tears put into making this....

its like... when metallica or your favourite band decides on a different direction and its just complete shit. you stop listening. the crowd gets smaller and smaller, sure, you get a few new fans here and there. and then the band fades off into nothingness. and twenty years later they come back and do a reunion tour. they play all the old songs... because time has passed and in that time they have had a moment of self reflection and realised what they made was complete garbage. and on the reunion tour they only play all the old songs. because no one wants to hear that "new" shit. and when you find out they're playing all the old songs. you buy a ticket, because that's what the fans want.

classic WoW is a great example of this happening in the video game industry.

sometimes an artist makes something that they feel is so cool and amazing. but everyone else looks at it and thinks its shit. and it is shit. and the hardest part about that, as an artist myself, is taking a step back and realising, "damn, yeh, they're right.... wtf was i thinking. im too self absorbed"

with my band, im like, "boys i spend two weeks perfecting this song. listen to this."

and they're like, "ahh dude thats kind of shit."

it fucking hurts. but its the truth, and the truth must be met with acceptance.

They are operating like people are idiots. And they're correct in doing so.

Correct development vector: improvment.
We wanna become stronger to deal with new harder content, more competitive content. Not to become weaker and deal with the same things (which become more difficult even despite the weakening of our gear) over and over again every league.
We're playing leagues (not standart) cuz we want to enjoy new league content. What's the point of league content if it gives you nothing at all? Oh, right, except of bugged x1000 exp.
