capping the sun with a sieve.... only by this previous announcement can you see that the problems still continued in the game. When are you going to learn to really listen to the community?
Can you guys go back to making things fun first instead of this weird MOBA-esque balance where all outliers must be destroyed and we will watch the .0001% gauntlet gamers to find what's broken and destroy it? That's what feels like what has been happening for leagues now and you guys even reference this for example detonate dead. This skill isn't used in trade league, but because SSFHC players started using it, it was all of a sudden OP and being brought up on podcast after podcast. You guys killed slams because of these same people, too, when in reality slams were a very cool archetype that most people won't even bother playing because of piano'ing. What will be ruined next? Lightning conduit even though it's clunky and requires a whole different playstyle? Stop taking the fun out of your game. This is a SINGLE PLAYER POWER FANTASY LOOT GAME that happens to be online with leagues(99% of people play solo) and we no longer really feel powerful and aren't really given any tools back after you take them away. If this is PoE 2, you guys are going to set your community on fire and it's going to be a disaster. I'm worried for you guys and the game I love. Get back to making a fun game for your community instead of whatever has been happening. It feels like you don't make this game for us anymore. You guys used to have the best rep of any developer I'd ever seen when it came to the community and now you're fearful of them and starting to hate them it appears. Again, I'm worried.

We're making improvements to how Lightning Mirages from the Storm Strider modifier spawn by increasing their cooldown and making them spawn close to the player but not right on top, so that builds that hit multiple times in quick succession are not swarmed by Lightning Mirages.

This is exactly how I imagine they "fix" the issue as well.


How do you fix it without fixing AN? And how do you fix AN without committing to Loot 2.0 or rolling back 3.19's loot changes or-- there's no way to fix the "MF culling service" problem when you have fundamentally painted a golden target onto <1% of rares and told us, "Ignore all other rares, they cannot drop anything meaningful" Pre 3.18, any rare you killed could drop something good! Post 3.18, all you care about is a narrow tiny subset of rares and nothing else.


Easy - you don't have specific loot tables for specific AN mods - you just have crazy IIR/IIQ per AN mod and let them go to a crazy level when they combine (for some definition of "crazy") - then you want to kill them all, because all will be loot piñatas.

They still need their damage nerfed, if not also their health further - in terms of what happens to the final monster after all buffs per AN are applied, etc.

Boss or souped up Rare ignoring everything and sprinting to one shot the pump is a "bug" or shoddy design decision that is as old as time in this game.

I had forgotten about this, but it really does show just how f'd up AN makes so many things, including all of the vast many things that were already a problem or major issue.
GGG please done listen to always angry people that dont understand what yall are doing and cannot adapt to the changes. Its still possible to craft good gear and be rich. You just need to learn the game, casuals.
