Lag spikes since 3.20

Affliction broke it completely now.

Lag spikes are beyond good and evil and it is definitely server and not client side.

Running 8ms to 20ms on every other online game except PoE.
Game spikes from 200ms up to 1000ms.

Call it quits and hopefully PoE2 will be better coded.

hey there,
i have the same problem. but when i use my standard-char with dominating blow and uber-end game gear it works fine. i have a suspicion that it is build / skill / gear related.
i have the problem with splitting steel and will try swapping things and trying with different setups / builds.
but still i think it is not on my end and the game needs a fix.

it helps to know that i am not the only one :)

it doesn't happen in every instance / map so it's a bother to troubleshoot.
i played another char over 80 where i try spells and it doesn't matter.

In my hideout i got 10-15ms. and then every 2nd map there are spkies when i interact with the mobs in any way. those spikes get only more extreme the more they hit me.
and it seems its only bad in the prime-times...

i am giving up.

Lag spikes between 2000-20000ms in some instances. Doesn't matter on what EU server.

Bios, GPU, Windows everything updated.

Having lag spikes between 40 - 4000ms in random zones/maps, as soon as I change area the lag spikes disappears.

I7 6700k
1070 ti
16gb RAM
Windows 10

Game works flawlessly like usual.

Haven't had any issues aside from maybe 5 minutes of total server downtime.


Seems to be 100% ISP related.

My ISP is good and listens to feedback.

I have had the same problem for many seasons, and haven't found a solution, I have a good computer and good internet, and have tried lots of things.

At league start 3.24 I still had problems, and the game was still unplayable.

I searched the web, and after long searches, i found something, and after following this video/guide, I no longer have problems.
