Latency spikes off the roots in Singapore/Japan server since last night
Yep, Singapore is unplayable right now for me, and I'm in Singapore. I will have long periods where it works fine, then the lag starts again. I have to jump around between instances/areas to find one with a normal (3-5ms) ping, and try to play from there.
I'm currently sitting in a stable version of Karui Shores waiting for my lagged hideout instance to despawn so I can try it again. Here is the lagged Hideout on server 203.27.106.227 which according to a Whois is in Singapore (the meter fluctuates wildly up and down when I move, never going below 50 or so): I later connected to 203.27.106.94, also Singapore, and it was fine (1ms). Here is a non-lagged Karui Shores after I managed to get it to load into server 119.81.121.121, which according to a Whois is in Hong Kong. IMO - and I'm no server technical guy - it seems to me certain hosts (boxes?) have the issue, and others don't. Last edited by t0lkien#7048 on Dec 15, 2023, 9:34:00 AM
