Lore of The Forbidden Sanctum with KittenCatNoodle!

Only thing I will say - the Delirium God (I forget his name) strongly hints that Sin himself is not completely a "good guy".

He loves to taunt the player, yes. But he will do it with truths as well as well-crafted lies, and the point that Sin killed his own wife and daughter, created the beast which by all known accounts, is what led to the fall of Wraeclast, and has the power to absorb (and bestow) godly energies, hence the Pantheon.

Which means Sin, playing the good guy, effectively uses our player to level himself up, and is also complicit in the corruption of Piety and Dominus.

The point I am making, is that there may be far, far more to the story than just Innocence being a grifter and Sin an Innocent victim.

If Innocence is an amalgamation of the Judeo-Christian God, then it stands to reason that Sin, the representative of the devil, would be the most skilled liar - as the saying goes, even the devil can appear as an angel of light.

I think it is far more fascinating to have it where both brothers in the dichotomy were in their own ways, scheming against the other, and not only would it be fascinating if the reason Innocence framed Sin was not as a scapegoat but to beat Sin to the punch, it would also mean there is no redeemable side in the whole sordid mess, which messes with people's expectations since people are hard wired to think that if one side is bad, the other side is good - it would blow people's minds to find out both brothers were just irredeemable and awful...
