League Will Be Great. Don't look at the Reddit Dumpster Fire

Just want to share some appreciation for GGG having spent 1 minute too long reading reddit, and Twitch comments.

A few leagues ago people were crying that "why can't GGG leave our meta builds alone so we can get good at 'em...". Now people are saying they'd prefer nerfs over nothing? Wild stuff. I feel like there's going to be an abundance of new stuff happening with the mechanic on top of sanctum returning, and a bunch of new support gems. Seems like plenty of new toys to play with, and find the fun in the game. League will be great and I hope the majority of folks here feel the same.

These forums smell like basement farts way worse than Reddit ever could.

Yep, this is where the people who wasted their money on this game are gonna bitch and moan, and you think F2P players cry loud just wait.

I like that these patch notes allows me to play old trusted builds as well as the builds I prepared for 3.22. And a ton of new stuff was actually added. Screw the Reddit and all the whiners. I don't need meta shakeup in NON-COMPETITVE game.

You mean don't look at Reddit because there are a few post here and there where some people are unhappy about the Ruthless notes? My goodness, I looked at Reddit earlier and thought, "Well not many post flaming the patch just some people unhappy here and there about Ruthless, so must a patch without many nerfs".

Seriously any criticism at all and you guys lose your minds. OH noes, don't look at other peoples opinions. You sound like a cult. People in a cult don't want other people to hear any position but their own. Worse is when you look at the post of those not happy, they are not really saying anything dripping with vitriol. You going to call Jungroan's recent video a dumpster fire too? He's being reasonable and not screaming, not cussing out anyone. Put on your big boy pants ok?

Not everyone has to agree. You're dong the "agree with the team or we'll marginalize you" thing. There is one post with 2k upvotes with a meme saying, Patch notes summery "in ruthless". Oh my, how dare they... Every similar post has a messily 400-600 likes. Not 5 post with 8k like Diablo 4 had by this time.

Quite true, normally 10 to 1 the sky is falling on these forums and on Reddit they are like "not to bad".

I'm pretty sure that the league will be great. But on the other side, I really can understand the anger that ruthless gets so much attention while nothing is done about the shitty state of melee.

There have been cases where Reddit is off on the side complaining with itself. This isn't one of the cases.

Were the notes bad? No. Were they good? No. People are just disappointed.

Doesn't matter what you think, if it's against their "side" then you are a bot, or a reddit troll or a shill ect...

You can run the numbers and print it out and still have the overly invested blow a fuse, you are attacking "their game" so either bolster their side or get out.

Don't waste time appealing to people to change their minds, just lay out the numbers and those will do all the work themselves... I still need to see them for the new gems before I call them garbage or good.
