Constant crashing in towns since 3.22 update

Stopping by to drop another name in the box. Locks the game up in town.

Same issue. Lags and crashes in city every time when a lot of skins are nearby.
Switching to DirectX12 fixed this issue for me. |

Game runs great for me.
got 25more fps from previous league. dx12. to bad the league is so bad though, had to quit. |

one issue i find curious is how the game is losing the render device.

Had this problem last league and for the last 2 days would just instantly crash to desktop when trying to log in to town.
Updated AMD drivers and and chipset software, haven't had a crash since. Played a good few hours last night and more today. | |

I have the same issue. Going to and from town just destroys my frames. if I manage to get to town I have to do everything as fast as I can. because it will most defiantly crash. I do all I can in my hideout but, I can not turn in quests. nor progress without going to town. It is to the point I cannot even run my trade overlay, as I am trying to run on potato.

My Game is crashing non stop in town when there are other player with MTX. This also results in frame drop. Is there a way to stop other players mtx to hinder my game?

I'm 100% stuck, dx 11, 12 or vulkan ALL crashes in oriath dock town, wtf is that? I can't play with anything now!

While anecdotal and basically completely unexplainable I figured out my problem was something to do with old filters or something in my folder where filters are stored. After deleting this folder my game stopped crashing (and computer, sometimes I was blue screening on crash). Confirmed this was the issue by putting the folder back in after deleting it and started crashing again.
Users/MyDocuments/Pathofexile Delete this, delete all your filters on the website and viola! At least it worked for me lol This will also reset all of your UI and graphics settings and stuff so take note of those before you get rid of the folder. Hope this helps someone as I was ready to completely give up after fresh installing windows, reinstalling PoE, drivers, I tried everything...
