Long load times
after last patch getting even longer loading screens...

GGG pls fix this shit i am waiting sometimes 1min to enter the game or when i open my first map. I dont like switching instances because it takes waaaaaaay to long. Even on Geforce Now it takes ages. I think the problem is that people have to reload ALL the Textures everytime they start the game ??

I'm struggling with this still too. Really frustrating this league. I upgrade my graphics card, checked my gold nvmi-e ssd. Might try reinstalling but I'm not convinced it'll help.
Saw some stuff on increasing the shader cache to 2GB in nvidea settings but it didn't help. The different renderers don't change much, except to make it even worse for awhile. | |
Currently at 15s loading screens. This is makes racing to 100 purely random rather than skill-based, which has caused me to lose interest. Other people's load screens are 0.5s. Why?

Anyone have any luck with this yet , or an answer from somewhere ?

I can't play the game at all since this update. Any type of battles of any sort cause insurmountable lag spikes non stop until I inevitably die. It's exponentially worse with others.
In game names: BigStud, PieInAJar, and MyNameIsEric

RTX 2060 Ryzen 5 3400G 512GB M.2 SSD 16GB DDR4 RAM So a "Mid tier" PC. Using Vulcan & All lowest settings possible. Had major issues with long loading times into instances, especially into towns and hideouts that had multiple other players. Things I did that, when combined, seemed to help a little: -Stopped using any MTX -Completed clean GPU driver reinstall -Verified integrity of game files in steam(Pretty sure this one did nothing actually, Lol) -Reinstalled the whole game and removed all my custom settings from game and Nvidia panel -Forced shader cache size into 10GB from Nvidia panel settings -Forced no sysmem fallback from Nvidia panel settings(Still running tests on this) Seems to have helped a little. Still collecting shader cache so can't really be definite about performance issues, multiplayer load times and other things, but solo load times have indeed lessened- and continue to lessen as I save more instances. Maybe I'll post again if there continues to be issue with long multiplayer load times. |

" No MTX in PoE is funny, great job GGG, 3.23 could be great, but wiht this horrible long loading times, seems no trading possible. |
