Long load times

i have a worst compu, i3 4310 (back in 2012) and gtx750 TI,

it used to be fast, like 2-3sec for loading screens.

Now it literally takes over 1min, and so much freeze in game... :]

i barely can play maps :)

Same here i can't even trade with players ! entering town takes 2-3 min. wth !

I dont know what they did, I had 15-20 sec load times to town at the end of last league and now it can take from 1-5 mins to load now.

I just fixed this today using a video from you tube:

If you have nvidia graphics card go into the Nvidia Control Panel

Go to Manage 3d Settings

Scroll down to: Shader Cache Size

Change from driver default to 10gb

close control panel

Start POE, this worked for everyone that comment on the youtube thread (wasn't many)

I tried and it helped with loading time and rendering after entering a zone. Only town still a bit slow but may be my connection and/or all the players in there with those mtx chaos. Thanks.

edit: also now i don't have fps drops with big packs of monsters, especially in the new Viridian Wildwood with all those particles. Amazing, thanks a lot!

I'm trying to re-install atm. Nothing here works. Last league it was only for towns, before they fix it (or just reverted the change idk). But this time it's so much worse because it's now every zone not just towns.

This is unplayable for me. Please anyone at GGG who sees this thread. Tell the guy. Nothing in the profiler even move while I'm waiting. Zero shader, zero disk, 3 ms gpu, 5 ms cpu, and just a stasis 1 min between every zone.

i dont know what they doing but the issue have be so long ago still not doing anything about it loading take a long time it suck..and they dont reply to us here anyway just stay silent..

Didn't notice any(xD) issues before 3.23 but in Affliction loading times were killing my character every other location since loading times were higher than immunity time and to some location I think would never load (closed game after 5 minutes loading). Tried on Vulcan and Dx12.

Deleting most of my standard characters (deleted like 90% of them) helped A LOT. like... that's so stupid but there wasn't any patch or anything so I can belive it helped.

I never had great performance and played on all lowest settings for the last leagues (most importantly the disabled sound)

but I had normal loading times around 5s last league, now im the 30s to 1min range for everything and just now in my first trade I had a 2min loading screen..

this is unbearable..
