No hardcore events? What?

Why not?? Are there any objective reasons to only run softcore events?

I was actually waiting for the events and was hyped 5 minutes ago, and the hype just got annihilated

GGG hates HC, it should be obvious given what they've done to the game. The game used to have majority of the players in HC way back, and even openly encouraged people to play HC with unique rewards only available to HC players, like the red cosmetic armour set.

Nowadays, HC is barely alive. So barely in fact that with certain items it's not guaranteed you'll see even one for sale for the entire 3 month league, for example a specific pair of Forgotten jewels, 3 prop Watcher's Eyes etc.. I've had some friends go SC not because they prefer the mode, but simply because the league is actually alive and given enough currency, you can actually get what you want. In HC, even if you get 1000 divine, there's probably not enough crafting materials for sale to craft top end items.

Of course, there's many benefits for playing in HC. The community is nice and tight, with no scammers or douchebags. [Removed by Support] There's actual consequences for failing. I play HC and only HC, and if they choose to kill the game mode with actions such as the events we see here and numerous others, I'll simply stop playing and take my money elsewhere.

You know what's even more sad? They won't change their decision on this one :(

Why anyone would play HC when ggg server performance and connections are unstable is beyond me.

Pretend you play HC and delete your character on death. Problem solved. Or are you upset because others wont be forced to lose their characters on death?

Just doesn't work for me like that, i'd give some examples just so you would understand what i mean but i'd get deleted by mod lol

I'm just upset that i won't even hear the objective reasons why wouldn't they addd HC to the events
Like really, why? Does this somehow work on a business model decision money vise or they just didn't bother to "copy\paste and enter HC mode" to the events?

Maybe, i'm more upset of not getting answers i really want to hear than not playing the events

No one cares about HC. Playing hardcore does not offer any better of a game experience, and its an accomplishment with no meaning. What is the point in making a Hardcore race that the same 5 people will compete in to win.

HC is a waste of time die to some random bullshit and back to campaign + lose equipped items to standard who has time/patience for that crap?
