Tankiest build for semi-casuals?

Hey guys,

while I had a lot of fun this league and will be able to complete 40/40 challenges soon, my char wasn't able to do uber versions of bosses, mostly because I'm just bad at dodging :D

So, I'm looking for something really tanky for next league. While I'm not expecting this to be possible for 3 div, let's keep it below 100. So please no mageblood or 1 point voices shenanigans.

TLDR: What's the tankiest build you can think of with a 100 div budget? Any class or skill for now

Basically unkillable and uber viable. Started as Stormburst Totem Hierophant and transitioned into Shockwave totems around the level 90 mark. Ripped to DC, so character is gone sadly, but it was great fun while it lasted

Since you mentioned them i think you mean tanky for uber bosses right? Because tanky for uber bossing, tanky for simus and tanky for mapping are very different things and require different toolsets.

For ubers the thing you need about all else are spell suppression and elemental damage taken as another element. Any build with those 2 will have a hard time dying to their regular mechanics. Add in lethe shade for their ground degens and a decent amount of recovery and you should have quite a bit of error margin.

What build/skill you use is fundamentally irrelevant. There multiple ways to get those things and it doesn't matter too much which one you choose.

you can do any ubers just not uber ubers

Cremation

Build based on the Damage Shift (Phys Damage Taken As), Flasks, Eternal Damnation and Transcendence combo. That is what you need to tank ubers with tons of margin. Even with limited budget.

Highly likely some of these mechanics will be nefed in 3.23.

A good knowledge of the "boss fight" mechanics itself is very important.
Manually dodging some of the bosses punches is essential.
It is not possible to make a "face tank uber boss build."

If you want something tanky for next league i would wait until we get patch notes. We dont know what will survive the balance changes (we know for sure that impedning doom pathfinder wont). Most likely pathfinder will still be the safest bet to get tanky but since you also need dmg we cant know.
