No performance fixes?

Yeah I hoped I'll read something about performance issues in the patch notes too, and I, too, was disappointed.

I'd say MULTI-THREADING BUG is the most important problem PoE has for at least a year and it still not addressed by devs.

This.
Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.

I have 240FPS in Warzone and other games where graphics are 100x better than PoE.

It's always quiet amusing how people try to compare Poe to other games with way less stuff going on the screen.
Put a lot of players and action onto the screen and even a game like warzone would drop in fps. Game engines are simply bottlenecked at some point and can't 100% keep up the performance with a lot of stuff. Graphics ain't the only factor for how smooth a game gets and it's not always just the GPU that matters hoho
Not having a old ass setup helps at least to maintain a playable performance, and like 95% of the players with issues simply run pretty old and bad setups, yet complain about being unable to keep up with a engine update.

No, games like Warzone, Starfield etc do not drop in performance on my PC. BUT 12 year old PoE does outta strange reasons.... My my, what a strange mystery...

Really Einstein? Graphics are not the only factor.. No you're right for PoE it's every single factor. bETA

poe calculate each mob indvidually, so if you have 20 mobs firing spells, atacks and what not they are indvidually calculated.
Other games like d4, etc..dont do that.

its why a small group can one shot due to all the mobs crit and they all hit indvidually but also requires cpu/ram/ssd/gpu to function to deal with the amount of data.

Recent poe2 added patch there was some issues but it was resolved fast in the patches they did.
played ancestor no issues.

lots of people having issues using nvidia cards which may or not be a reason

I can def recommend more RAM.
I went from 16 to 48 and it has helped a lot.

lol stop lying it literally does noting for games you dont get any more fps if you got more than 16GB ram unless you for some reason open 3 games at the same time in wich case you would run out of memoryy with just 16GB and would see fps getting lower

For years, the sound files in PoE have caused stuttering for me, by adding more RAM that issue has gone away and my PoE gaming experience is much smoother.
Calling me a liar is childish.

fmod is one of the issue. It wasn't designed for hundreds events happening at the same time.

Before windows 11, it was not using more than 24. Not sure if 48 is really necessary but I don t know if win 11 support more now.

imagine using windows 11 for gaming... that bloatware from microsoft.
League was plagued with performance issues and stutter. Long loading times into Town and Heist. Which where fixed but seemed to have crept up again. Stutter and poor frame rate. I've re-installed, loaded new drivers cleared all the caches, tried DX11, Vulkan DX12 but the stutter always comes back. Rollback the "new" particle engine please, I dont want to Alpha test PoE 2.0.

If it's your PC - it's not performance issues on the game's side

Played like 15 chars this league - all good, no performance trouble

3.18 around 30 seconds loading time between towns
3.19 (SSD upgrade) around 10 seconds loading time between towns
3.20 around 10 seconds loading time between towns, game smooth, speed, fast, quick, no issues, perfect, awesome, cute, example of that https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/525195077933334539/1115167431258800138/vdsadvadv.mp4
3.21 around 10 seconds loading time between towns, perfect, cute, i love you, awesome, example of NO STUTTERS, NO LAG, EVERYTHING CUTE https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/525195077933334539/1105500587354763284/asd.mp4
3.21 (last 2 weeks) around 70 seconds loading time between towns, missing textures, 100% cpu, overheat gpu, whole pc lag, crash videos if game open, can not have discord/browser open or both crashes my gpu driver and need to rebbot pc, fps issues, examples https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlFyPOst82g https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/525195077933334539/1133757320095072276/bfd.mp4
3.22 Around 2 minutes just log in any character

I have friends with better pc components than mine and they cannot play due to stutters or long loading time between zones, I tried buying other SSDs and the only thing I did was lose money, I modified the entire PC for gaming and although I gained a couple of fps and I lowered the gpu stress, the stutter and loading times are crazy, isn't my pc, but must be somewhat the game is coded in a way some has issues on certain PCs, others not like you.

And as an aside, I have never had lag with 923487543^12301 mobs 89tomato9999% deli my pc never had issues running that.
