Why are supporters packs so expensive?

these are the 2024 supporter packs, once ayear releases that tend on the pricy side, they haven't posted the league supporter packs that are in the 30 and 60 USD range.

Realistically the packs are cheap. What ever value pack you buy, you get the same amount of equivalent points to spend in the shop, everything else in the pack you get for free along with your purchase.

You and I think that, but deep down inside we know GGG priced the normal points to a point they are the same value as points in the packs so we willingly buy packs :D

In the past if you bought pack, you were getting less points. People still were buying them because of all extra MTX you get in addition to points. Now you get same amount of points you would get normally + all extra MTX. Buying pack instead raw points is no brainer now.

That Map device is cool. Will PoE2 also have a compatible map device system?

You think that's bad, try spending $100 USD!

The game is free, and no doubt the VAST majority of us pay nothing other than maybe a few stash tabs (currency, map, and a sales tab are basically mandatory to keep playing IMHO)

I don't know why they wouldn't have a larger range of supporter packs, but I DO know that I am extremely grateful to those who pay so that I dont have to, as i'm broke as fuck right now with medical stuff.

It depends on your perspective. You gain nothing other than cosmetics from the supporter packs, in addition to the full value of the pack in points. I'd argue that the only MTX you "need" is a premium tab and perhaps a map and currency tab. Beyond that it's 100% up to you what you choose to spend your money on.
