Quitting the league because performance is so bad

It's their faulty patches.. the lack of come clean with the ACTUAL updated requirements to play the game after the """upgrade performance" patch at the end of crucible?

And even so there's reports that 4X gpus are also getting crashes and issues only with this game.. so there's no way to sugar cut it with anything, some people just enjoy living in a lie as long it works "fine" for them the rest is always going to be wrong..
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words.

Retired since crucible.(Not a free tester anymore for a multi billion dollar company).
Same here. I get crash in lab 3 times. And imo I don;t have bad pc at all, 16gb ram, ssd 512gb, geforce 4060... Well, I hink poe had too much in code...

Will you be happy if instead of Core 2 Duo CPU and 660 GT they demand RTX 4070 and i7 14700KS? So is this way to fix a problem? Just announce: our game now requires more PC power than you already have, throw another 3-4k USD for new PC, problem solved, we can keep making spaghetti code.
jokes on you i have a rtx 4070 and it only sits at 20% load in poe you need a beefy cpu plus good internet and some marry poppins shit of internet

Guaranteed, the performance issues aren’t GGG, it’s your computer, isp or both.

Guaranteed the performance issues are GGG related and not his cpu or isp. He said himself last season was fine and smooth now everything is messed up and thousends of ppl having those problems this league. the technichal forum is full of "bad performance, can't play the game" threads. Literally half the playerbase quit this league in week one, I assume most due to performance issues.

playing this game for 12~ years since beta and this league has been the worst ever for me in performance. I stand in my hideout with 144fps stable and it just drops to 30fps out of nowhere, it stays like this for a bit and goes back up. I run through a fully juiced delirum map with 80 90fps and suddenly it just drops to 10-20fps, stays like this for a bit and goes back up. It is literally unplayable for me this season sometimes and it has nothing to do with my rig. I can play all modern titles on stable and good fps. I did play this game a couple years ago on my old rig with no problems. I could play the last few leagues with the new rig with absolutely no problems and this league it is a performance nightmare. I guess it is time to upgrade my rig again huh...?

What makes me mad the most are not the performance issues tbh, it is the none communication and the "welp, that is not our problem" stance that GGG seems to have adopted nowdays since they sold to Tencent. A couple years ago when there was problems at league start there was literally 10 forums posts from GGG about those problems and 5 patches in week one fixing those problems. Now it is just a big nothing burger. Half the playerbase is quitting in week one because they literally can't play the game and GGG is like "here is a poe2 developer interview".
Poe worked fine couple of leagues ago, then GGG start testing POE 2 feathures like new shaders that now depend more on CPU instead of GPU ,and performance went realy bad for many players, who maybe have decent GPU but somewhat mid CPU.

From these actions we now also have a new trend with long time loading screen, even if you just leaved the map to trade and back to the map again, you still loading same amount of long time, like if it was new map\instance opened.

It feels like all of this hapening, because game do not store any shaders cache in your GPU ram anymore...

Conctludion - it is both, game and your PC fault.

- Game fault because - it worked fine not long time ago and now its bad.

- Your PC fault because - now your CPU cant handle the game.

Could devs bring everything back like it was before? Surely. Will they? I highly doubt.

ps. everything highly subjective,i might be completely wrong.

Yeah bro, it's just sad how copium is haaaard on those players, like they cannot accept the game has upgrade it minimum requirements or game just get into a poorly performance over time
In this forum there's a lot of players with 3090 x-11gen cpu 16gb ram complaining about poorly performance, and still random players like in the first page of this thread "Guaranteed, the performance issues aren’t GGG, it’s your computer, isp or both.", bruh XD

50% bad info, first part is sorta correct, GGG had some issues with the servers that have been fixing over the time of the league, but some others like the client itself turning into a loading time/freezer simulator even for those players with High-end computers, but dunno the sources of that "Literally half the playerbase quit this league in week one"

Even with GeForce Now Ultimate the game lags bad in density or when using a million projectile skill.

PoE has become a game for rich people.

Devs aren't interested in optimizing the game for poor people with weak PCs cause they don't buy microtransactions while still eating huge chunk of servers' capacities.
