I can vouch for this. Before I switched to hardcore beyond juicing in t16's a lot of my income came from items like oils/scarabs/essences/etc. Items which don't drop from whatever "trick" that happens to be the flavor of the month will always be more valuable.

Trying to directly farm currency is always the least efficient method. Farm what people need instead.

yeah that's why I wonder if ranger is that good to make, because you will be farming the same thing as everyone else.

Ranger is good option because most farming strats, not just the current fotm are better the faster you rae. Every Ranger ascedency have acess to some form of extra speed.

It's never too late to start except if you're aiming at 40/40 and start a week before the league is over.

Every moment in the league has its down and upsides.

Give it a try!

Play SSF, ignore economy, have fun.

What You get here will be transferred to Standard. And if Youd feel need to continue You could there.

Or get into new league.

cause fun wise this league is the most boring league we ever had, there is no game depth, or anything new.

You enter map, you go down, then you go up. thats it...

And no Charms, tinctures and stuff just recycle already existing mods. thats nothing new.

you forgot penance, splitting steel and caustic arrow, or maybe it didn't fit your framing.

Funny he brings up Cyclone as if Cyclone was the main skill.. when Cyclone is one of the most diverse builds ever. Just from the top of the ladder Cyclone is used with
- Ice Nova of Frostbolts
- Ice Spear of Splitting
- Forbidden Rite
- Shockwave ("true melee")
- Shock Nova
- Penance Brand

And then there are variations of Hexblast, Explosive Arrow + other ballistae, Storm Brand, Corrupting Fever..

This season has so much build diversity actually. Right now I'm playing Volcanic Fissure of Snaking and having a really good time. But I guess it's as it's always been: you've made your bed, now lie in it

You can forget about standard. I played hardcore there from morning to evening for 2+ months. and just got 90 divs together. and I only like necros, so end content is hardly possible with my gear. and you can hardly buy anything there. the prices are extremely high.

But I played in league for less than a week. and have similar dps. but much more def stats. Most of the time I can stand in the group and facetank Meles after 3000-4000 wisp (not always, but most of the time).

So it's worth it when it comes to something like necro.
Most people just play this mf ranged stuff. Maybe the prices are just high for something like that. But for Necro the weapon and shield were almost free. chest doesn't cost much either.
