I've run scores of T16s with 2 voidstones in standard this league and not one has dropped. I've run them across three differnt atlas trees. YMMV

you'd have been lucky to find one with only 2 stones. the chance becomes okay'ish at 4

That was my point. Thanks.

the idea that 2 voidstones is like no way but 4 is fine is amusing and a fine representation of why statistics are not processed by the gaming crowd generally.

OP just prioritise map drops and getting your 2 remaining voidstones they are both on the same road and i somewhat question why you want a T17 if you haven't got the other 2 but i'll leave that :p, Scarabs will help too you get it to about 1/4 when its really juiced.

For reference there is a proper rundown here along with what you should use depending on slots available, considering the author was farming for stats on T17 drop efficiency i'd just go copy their method + whichever result was posted as strongest if all your interested in is getting them to drop.

Quite literally 4 Voidstones doubles your chance of converting a T16 into a T17. Also, Voidstones upgrade the Atlas until only T16 maps can drop. Since only T16 maps can be converted to T16s, it quite literally makes a huge difference in drops.

But you know this. Why are you arguing otherwise?
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
T17s have several issues which we'll have to see if they bother fixing in the next league...

Difficulty: you can have a build which trivializes 8-mod T16s but which still struggles in T17s - not entirely sure what they're thinking with that (they chose the 17 bit - that suggests it's the next-level - but it's not, it's several levels ahead)

Rolling: getting a T17 map without instakill mods, building-disabling mods AND which has actual rewards is both costly (bricking the economy in Trade this league) and REALLY tedious

Combine those and you have challenging content which is expensive to acquire (thus making it difficult to learn/adapt to) and frustrating to setup

The fact the big rewards are keys to easier and more rewarding encounters is just fucking silly

Here's a final thought - imagine T17s without B2B and without Lantern mods like Meatsacks/Anarchy and Barrels - imagine that

A bit of thought about this would go a long way GGG.

Ya....they put no thought what so ever into t17's. The Uber bosses them selves are easier than the t17's you have to do to fight them. Wth is that??

Exactly.
The whole new scarab and T-17 thing was a "Bring your kids to work day" at best.
Watching the top 10 best players in hc trade raining t0 uniques from the sky, then banking most of them so there is no supply to lower prices. Then getting 1 shot with a 98 100k max ele hit char is pretty toxic i would say. These are decently easy in sc without juicing them.

There was absolutely no consideration for hc in this change, I didn't find them enjoyable. I had to make a sc character to finish challenges.

I am rather averag ethough
