Zero PoE2 hype

This a fine summary tbh, a game has to have some unbelievable hooks to get hype out of me - what I am instead is cautiously optimistic.

But the truth is you can't tell if a game clicks with you until you play it. I like what I see and I believe in GGG up to a point, but GGG also made mageblood an item so I'm torn ;)

i honestly prefer if they split the news. keep POE2 news on POE2 website/forum/subreddit.

They're playing by the rules. With POE 2 they want to go mainstream, so they have to play by those rules. Announce the game too early, drop feed info, be as vague as possible, and delay it at least once. It's stupid, but it's the gaming industry standard if you want to hook the casuals.

With POE 1 the target audience was smaller, so word of mouth was enough to bring them the players they needed for a niche game.

Like it or not, they're probably betting everything they have on POE 2 right now. Can't say I like the idea, but the roller coaster is already in motion, might as well enjoy the ride....and maybe we won't crash.

i spent 11 years to play PO1 and the project to make the 2 games as different campaign with same end game hyped me ....!!!! but since they are 2 different games , i realy feel no more hype for poe2 ... and all i see and hear about it makes me cold as ice...... we'll see what happens.
