Congrats GGG - The least interesting part of POE, is the base POE game itself.

So you've gone and developed a system that isn't challenging. It's extremely linear.
You want lots of hard currency - you MUST use a specific sanctum build and run sanctum.
Don't like Sanctum? Then just earn enough with a few friends and gate keep specific valuable items main popular builds use and jack up prices.
Spam Blight - abuse blight ravaged map strat.
Spam Expeditions. (but really, don't, they don't make that much vs other strat)
But for the love of god, DON'T make the base game rewarding AT ALL.

This game needs a name change. Path of Economics.

There are more people being market warriors & gate keeping and flipping items that it's decimating your player base WITHIN DAYS of a league start.

Go Back to where MAPPING was where the action was at. Make it rewarding again.
As well bring in account blocked trading of gear. Anytime a player puts an item in a public tab it gets marked. When it's trade to another player a 7 day timer kicks in that it cannot be traded.

Force players to have to use the tab they store the item in to initiate the trade.
For crafters - Have that trade restriction removed when they create an item that adds several tier 1/2 mods. (like 3 or 4 T1 T2 mods) allowing people to modify items and still operate as a trade league.

You've gone and made this not about the game, but about forcing players to spam the most productive content just to be able to buy items for a build they are using.

This isn't fun. It's jumping through hoops which is retarded.
I want to upgrade a weapon, the base item I want to even start is 5 DIV's.
For me a casual player that's a week OR MORE of gametime just to get the base item, never mind the other 4-6 divs I need to try and craft it.

Good god, MAKE POE GREAT AGAIN. Get rid of all these losers trying to make a job out of RMTing your video game.

I think you need a hug.
I don't think you should get this upset about a video game, ever. If I find myself even thinking about conjuring up a thread like this, I'd just quit and find something else to do with my time.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
The base game for me is get to 4 voidstones, everything else is just shenanigans...
Nothing broken there and still fun and challenging. You don't have to trade much to do it and nobody cares whether you are rich or poor in this game anyways.

Just do your thing at your pace. If you like to trade a lot and accumulate stuff fine. But don't complain if others do it faster...

If you like sanctum so much because it earns you a lot, pick a gooddamn sanctum build or watch tyty stream and do what he does...he figured it all out for you^^

This was called path of trade since the beta and its just a reflection of real world economy.

Some people go to theire jobs, making stuff and other people earn more money selling that stuff. There are also markets where people are stockpiling rare stuff and selling it for even more money. Controlled supply is a thing even on the biggest commodity markets and its a common knowledge not a conspiration theory.

You're saying like 'make our wages big enough so we can be rich from 9-5 jobs'. It wont happen.

You really dont need top stuff to have fun. Exactly like you dont need to own 10 houses around the world and a new Bugatti to be happy.

GGG cant please everybody. There are casuals who play from time to time and are happy to finish the campaign and there are people who will sit min/maxing everything with 30 out of game programs/spreadsheets calculating profits because its theire drive (or a way to earn some money - which would be way better off using theire impressive skills in real world tasks earning way more...)

Its straight impossible to balance this considering how complex this game is.
There is freedom of choice.

You always can leaguestart with a build, thats not actually a starter and show your knowledge how to set it fly. But sure, if you have one.

Thats includes actually playing and a good skill of it.

I agree with the general sentiment of your post, but I also agree that perhaps taking a look at the game through a different lens could be beneficial.

Have you tried an SSF runthrough before? There are lots of good guides by good content creators available around here - back in the day, Shakcentral's Cold DOT for everyone was the gold standard. Had an amazing time just taking my time through the game instead of competing against economy freaks.
Still; sane: l'éxil.
so you basicly are angry that other people make faster money than you ?

not very healthy.

im a casual player, cant even beat t17 maps and still make money.

at moment i run rare t16 maps and let maven watch.

i dont care that its not 15 divine per hour ...
PoE is the ultimate ARPG sandbox, there are a myriad of ways to play the game. Sure the majority like to trade and farm the best strat but many others play in their own way. You can ignore mechanics and do what you prefer. There is no right way to play.
