GAME CRASHES AND FREEZES SINCE 3.25, THE GAME IS NOW UNPLAYABLE

Hi

Since patch 3.25 the game is unplayable, in the two years I have played this game this never has happened. I have tried all the troubleshooting guides from your website and forums, video guides from other players and nothing works. The crashes happen at random and at any point in the game or while i try to log in.

In this pc I play Diablo IV, Last Epoch, all the age of empire definitive edition and they all work perfectly. Something in the new patch ruined my gaming experience

I hope GGG fixes this soon.

Firstly, I'd recommend trying to install the standalone client to rule out a problem with the steam version of the installation.

Secondly, there are a lot of known issues with newer Nvidia drivers with a variety of problems.

The best driver recommendation that is mostly free of issues is the April 552.22 release.

From the same link that the poster shared above, there was a comment on just executing the right 32 or 64-bit game from your installed folder, I'm on 64-bit, did that and now it never crashed. Such a silly thing I know - but it worked for me.

Just becareful not to use the search bar and launch Path of Exile from there, it seems like I've just been launching the 32-bit and hence why I've been crashing. Probably from the previous updates something changed and the search bar has just been pointing to the wrong .exe to run Path of Exile from.

Same here. A lot of crashes during gaming. Sometimes up to 4 times per hour. Before i never had crashes. The crashes happens randomly. Opening Atlas? Opening Skilltree? Talking to an npc? Anything can lead to a crash or maybe not. Its just flipping a coin this time <.<

Having same issue tho for me its almost always when i hit huge packs of monsters. That said i have monster pc and gpu so it should not be an issue.

Something MUST be going on with this patch. I had never crashed before 3.25, this league is just crashing left and right. In the midst of a fight, on the loading screen, or just afk'ing. What is going on?!

Crashing every 15 mins for me too, straight to desktop no errors

I am also having a lot of crashes. Sometimes suddenly, sometimes cant even start the game. Today I got like 20 crashes of failed startups, and a bluescreen within like 20 minutes. This is really bad. This league has been crashy, but I think that after the last update it got really bad.

Ryzen 3700x
Radeon 5700xt Red Devil
MSI Tomahawk b450
32G G-skill 3600mhz
Adata M.2 ssd

Running into this problem as well. I've been smooth sailing since Ritual on a powerful rig, but since 3.25 I've been crashing multiple times a day while playing Hardcore.
