Look at your misquoting of me here (omission of "maybe") as an example.

You arent taking anyone to court about your data because GGG put in a captcha. Stop with the ChatGPT responses as well.

To give a dry answer to the OP's question....because the page where you view your account is the same page that anyone would visit to view your account.

If they implemented this Captcha, I assume that the website was being taxed by an inordinate number of account page views, and that those can be expensive. Or maybe the only expensive part is loading/viewing characters, and maybe bots were spamming that.

Cloudflare can't tell the difference between "viewing your own account" and "viewing someone else's account" when being asked to verify that it isn't a bot view.
