Game is turning into a glass cannon only builds

Shifting damage types is nice, but not feasible for a lot of builds that rely on Energy Shield for mitigation. Glorious Vanity needs a good setup and it's ALSO a big investment. You are sacrificing passive points, attributes, and the option to use another Timeless Jewel that has offensive benefits such as Lethal Pride or the all-time-favourite Balbala perma flask setups.

Meanwhile every build has jewel sockets available. Max res from jewels takes up 1 of 4 affixes on jewels so there's no reason not to use them. I don't know why you're so hung up about this.

Yea divine flesh would uh.... well it definitely would not make things good for me at all. Would just make things worse actually. Id go down to 5.79 exarch balls.

You can sim divine flesh in POB by the way, by just putting in the configuration "Divine Flesh" seen here

Its gonna also come down to the availability of vanity's on the market. Some that are powerful are usually $$$$ to the teeth unfortunately.

I understand the joke.
When fallacious arguments aren't convincing comes the biased moderation.

Its a help forum where people come to ask for help? Whats wrong with my "attitude" if I did exactly that? How do you even discern my attitude from two sentence post that is simply concise?

Let me rephrase. If you make a thread with a question in the title and a single sentence that is basically a politely phrased demand, then it comes across as "give me" attitude, in particular because the low effort that was put into the thread itself reflects how much effort you put into finding the information on your own first. Which does not entice people to reply because nobody wants to put in all the effort for free in times where Google exist.

I ask in the help forum for what I need.
Every ask is a politely phrased demand. I accept that if someone doesnt like how I ask (didn't prostrate myself properly apparently) they can choose to not answer the ask.
However after how Orbaal phrased his comment about me I was under impression people were eager to help if I went to that part of the forum as that was the right place for such but it seems at least from your reaction that what people are actually eager for is for people to textgrovel before them before they will find the magnanimity of sharing what they know.

Usually question are being answered rather quickly.
Emphasis on "usually".

Its not always going to be the case and no, you dont have to beg or grovel or anything like that.

Also my comment wasnt directed at you.
Its my general sentiment or gripe with complaints made all over the place by all sorts of people, not just you.
Because the origin of those complaints tends to be a lack of knowledge, which could be fixed rather quickly by either browsing the internet or asking over in G&H forum.

Thats all there is to it and this entire thread revolves around a lack of information or a misrepresentation of facts or hyperbole phrasing to make a point.
It simply doesnt help anyone.

Both ways make sense and its up to the player and their individual build to decide which way makes most sense vs opportunity cost.

Best type of defense you can build is Eldritch Battery + Chaos Inoculation or Chaos Inoculation + Divine Flesh. Impossible to die this way. Your character will be so strong the Ubers will cower before you. Trust me. I'm an expert.
Yup! That defense was OP in TotA.

A 10 divine build is top 0.1% because most players decide they have enjoyed the game and it is time to move on before that point.

Can you please rephrase because I am having trouble understanding that.

Anyone reaching Tier 11+ are a small playerbase, since most people decide to quit the game/ league before that point.
If your gear costs 10 Divines or more, which I am guessing is T15+, then it is an even smaller minority of players.

People leaving before T11 aren't even playing the game, can also consider people that leave before finishing the acts but no one care.
The core playerbase doesn't quit before red tier maps. "The majority" lmao

I think you have absolutely no idea that a massive percentage of players dont even make it to maps.

I don't really know what you consider the "core" players base, but if it's defined by endgame activities it's a number in the teens as far as total player count. A tiny fraction are in red maps and beyond.

Darth, when I say "core playerbase" I mean the people who experience Path of Exile as a whole. If you quit before maps you quit before you finish what I consider to be the tutorial.

I don't know how many people reach maps. I don't know how many quit before yellows. I don't know how many quit before reds. But I doubt you know any more about this than I do unless you have internal information from GGG.

It should be obvious that GGG doesn't target their game at people who'd quit before maps but people who go beyond. It‘s those players who spend the most time on the game, and the more time you spend playing the more likely you are going to spend money on it. So really, I have zero idea why you‘d call to question what I mean by core playerbase. I know that you know, and now I want to know why you pretend like you don‘t.
