From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

Poe1 was alot less frustrating than poe2. Trials suck, cant find maps to complete atlas passives, insane cheap and cheezy boss fights, superpowered one hit trash mobs. Drops suck. Poe2 Isn't fun. It's a game of hardship and pain.

Will be staying with poe 1 for at least a few years. Poe 2 is too bare-bones.

Got 250 hours in 2. It's got a long way to go to be actual fun to play.

Dropped for now and got back into 1 - but I don't think Jonathan has any love for 1

Sticking with POE1. The current state of 2 isn't just early access, it's clear the core of the game is just unfun. Game plays like you're chilled on a temporal chain map and every mobs is soul eater and hasted. The drops are bad, you barely craft anything. Market is the most mandatory it's ever been.

If they massively overhaul the skills so so many aren't useless and so many ascendencies aren't useless and completely buff every aspect of crafting yourself to weaken market and make ssf viable I'll reconsider.

Why do I have to pick? I am going to play both. People seem to forget that PoE 2 is still in development. If its unfun, they can always change large amounts of the systems.

If I've wanted to play Vindictus in isometric view - I'd play that.
There are countless of games that follow this kind of gameplay.

I came here to play Path of Exile and that's what I'm gonna play.

I have to add that on numerous occasions I've been bashing Chris Wilson for having ridiculous ideas.. but sweet mother of god.. get that bald big brain back and I'm not gonna say another bad word about him.

His most ridiculous ideas are still way above and beyond anything the Poe 2 designers have come up with..

The truth is - PoE 2 should've stayed as PoE "refresh" 1.5, as Chris Wilson intended by expanding content and redoing engine to add to the years of good, tested, proven stuff, not by making it a separate, barren, dumbed down version of the game.

Probably move to PoE2, but it's a close call. I like things about both. I think PoE1 has better writing, but PoE2 has a more fun endgame system.
