What makes you rage quit?

I dont rage quit. Rage is pointless.

But i have "ok i have enought for now" thing. And it happens when i have enought for now.

Loosing XP due to death gets me faster to that moment.

Did you not read my post? Valerius is a damage sponge. I don't want to spend an hour dodging his BS;

Simple fix,
Have you tried to play a proper build?

Something's wrong with your build if you can't tank the small hits and also need 1h to kill the boss.
And no you don't need to play trade for that

[Removed by Support] I can tank the small hits fine; the stupid waves in the first two phases are actually the worst*, followed by the waves in the final phase. The issue is that, the fight takes too long for me. My build is just fine for all the content I do play; I always channel up the Verisium deposits to max. ...

That surprises me. Verisium deposits have more than once ruined my day, yet Valerius wasn't so bad... except that yes, killing him takes ages for me, too.
About 10 minutes each fight, I think.

I do think the fight is OK. High damage attacks are well telegraphed and can be dodged.
However, it does take a bit too long. I like that you get a load of gold when you finally kill him.

As too the original question:
I don't rage quit.

I usually boredom quit not rage, but to answer the question....

Spending lots of time on trade messaging 20 people for a rare item with a combo of mods I need for a build, even considering time on market, and just getting nothing at all.

This can take 20 minutes of wasted time, all to fuel Chris's ego or hubris or whatever made him veto an AH over the recommendation and arguments of numerous members of his staff (his words, not mine, they didnt talk about it for weeks with everyone agreeing it was a bad idea).

Thats my number 1 reason to quit PoE leagues by far.

I mastered the art of channelling deposits back in Crucible, where I always channeled to max, as well. I've only died to it twice this league, from Chaos damage while I still hade a negative res, and from a cold projectile mob which I underestimated due to a max res in the 80s. This also speaks to why I enjoy a tough fight; I want to feel challenged, to know that I could lose. I can only imagine having a DPS in the millions being rather boring. ='[.]'=

You enjoy tough fights but you're getting annoyed of tickling high level content to death with a zdps character?
But at the same time you also refuse to play a proper character to fix the issue of tickling a "damage sponge" to death cause playing something that's not zdps is boring?

Sounds like you're either indecisive with what you truly want out of the game or you just expect everything to be balanced around your zdps build and campaign difficulty.

It doesn't really take much to do the fight within just a few minutes or to go afk to the weak attacks and it's one of the best sources of gold early on before you get to reach the big boys content.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

I don't want to be that guy, but I concur with some of the others here.

Pirate dude has only a handful of moves and is probably one of the best telegraphed bosses in the entire game. He has high HP because his area level is 84, which is the same as Shaper's Realm. Maybe take that into account. Even on my "fragile" character with zero PDR his anchor smash surprisingly didn't one-shot me when I got curious that one time. Still, it's so easy to dodge, so, why not, rather than becoming complacent.

This feels like Tree Sentinel all over again. Takes some distance to bait his charge, roll through it, and then you get a punish window for a couple seconds, roll or jump his slam/shoulder bump, rinse and repeat. This guy is no different.

If PoE 2 has no CWDT builds, I will quit for good.
For me, it's never a rage quit, but more something that slowly wears me down. This league, it was the constant need to have gold to keep my town running. Sure, I could have ignored that, but then I would have been playing without the league mechanic.
Getting offscreened over and over by a Sirus die beam while trying to re-enter the arena is probably the most frustrating thing I've experienced in this game.

And I have to turn the sound way down or off when I delve because of all those damn shriekers. Such an annoying noise! It's way too repetitive.
