Why start the relaunch on a goddamn thursday.
League start friday evening is a Ritual for over a decade now .
Normal work week and then blast on weekend
no vacation required , its perfect

While I cheered for the PoE2 delay and completely agree that it's better to postpone it to polish things up, the PoE1 event is a little bit disappointing. It's just the same thing with a bit more rewards, nothing too exciting to be honest :( I wish old event formula would be back (like endless delve) or a little more things would be added to this event to make it so I actually want to give it a go. Please GGG re-think it so the wait for PoE2 is a little more interesting.

GGG can you tell me why poe2 destroyed poe1?

I love you GGG, and after 10 000+ hours of playing game for over 12 years, i am dissapointed.

Not because you can't release new expansion, there are reasons behind for this.

But because you're using Blizzard strategy and aiming for the "stupid" ones with events like this. This is what Blizzard does to correct their mistake, just give people loot! Instead of goblins, you came up with old altars that will only reward, which i expect to be mirrors and divines raining everywhere. But this will make if fun for majority of player base and people will remain silent.

I'm sorry, but i'm not going to be silent and i hope you're not going to try again in the future with the same strat like Blizzard because it doesn't work for hardcore players like myself (not literally playing HC).

Good luck with coming releases, hopefully everything will go well. Can't wait for POE 2 tho.

League extension is a great news!
More time to complete the challenges.

I wish every league runs for at least 6 months in the future.

It would be nice if New leagues can start separately in parallel to the old leagues without ending the old league, so players can finish the challenges in the old leagues.

So Leagues can go on for 8 months, while new leagues can start every 4 months.
So there will be 2 leagues running in parallel.

So, see you in 3.26. As PoE 2 looks boring,slow as game after you play once and events not that much fun. And thank you for lieig, again, for PoE 2 doesn't affect PoE 1.

Well that was expected after the delay of the open beta. Makes sense that they don't want to run 2 things at the same time especially considering how important PoE 2 is to them.

I just wish access to PoE 2 wasn't paywalled. Ah well, I suppose we can wait for all the early access players to find the bugs and then play the game when it's ready.

I'm with a lot of people saying that I'm extremely disappointed with this decision.

You introduced PoE2 saying it would be integrated in the core game that me and so many others love. Then you went and said that PoE2 would be a separate game, changing the core foundation of the game and our mindsets completely (for me for the worse). And you forced PoE2 down our throats while announcing new leagues with twitch chat screaming to introduce the new PoE1 league.

That would all be okay since you promised us that there would be separate teams working on both games and that you would be able to make this work without mishaps regarding leagues and timelines. That's the second promise of many that you broke.

We're now stuck in a league for 7 months without new content - one league lasting longer than the other, the closer to PoE2 we're getting. We used to have a new end game every year previously.

I do not care when PoE2 comes out. I understand there are people who do, but instead of ruining the experience for the guys that love this game (PoE1), and that made PoE2 possible to begin with, don't neglect our passion that we have for this game by making PoE1 a worse game just to implement new things that are completely seperate from what we love.

I dont understand it. You have the best game ever created in this genre - by far! What is the reason for all of this? I simply dont get it. If PoE2 becomes a great game - great! - but take your time to develop it, because there's is no rush a long as you bring out new content and patches for PoE1. Now we're instead at a standstill where PoE1 gets less content, leagues get longer, and where promises about PoE2 keeps breaking - It's a lose/lose situation, and on top of that, we lose interest in both games simultaneously.

I hope you take the time to read all these messaged in this forum until 2025, and really try to understand what it is that your fanbase wants, because this is not it.
