Something to think about...

If PoE has a "failed" business model it's because it is far too generous to the player base since it relies on the players to be happy to make any money.

And then on the polar opposite end of the scale you have D4 where the only innovation they've made in gaming whatsoever is how to more effectively milk players while meeting a minimum bar of customer satisfaction standards.

why is it so hard to believe that someone has a different opinion? one of the big attractions to poe was the frequent 3 month updates but now that has been gone for years because of poe2...now it even went down from 4 leagues to just 2 per year. poe is not what it used to be, some people find other games better now

So the big thing about where the league schedules? weird, never thought about it that way.

No the dude of the original post didn't even mention that. Hes all about the loot. Loot and currency make poe a "bland" game. Which makes me think he actually hasn't ever played D4 in endgame. Which, you may not know, is about finding the right GA on your ancestral uniqe/legednary items as well as legendary affix max powers. Yep, its just boring grinding with hours upon hours without any upgrades.
Like to oneshot bosses in a group of 4 for 6 hours while selling 99% of your loot? thats D4 endgame. No gamba? yeah sure.

So no, his opinion is purely trolling and nothing else.
