Character Names in POE1 and POE2

Some clarification would be great. Some of us do have rather unique character names. But if there are two with the same name between the games, is there going to be some sort of discriminator that shows they are in PoE2 similar to how league badges work?

+1 to the question, I hope it will be account unique, not global unique names. Account names are also better for chatting since you shouldn't check every time for character names in your guild to know who is talking.
