You "forgot" that vs boss you won't have Life Remnants to pick. And also you "forgot" that in reality in maps you would only have double hp with Life Remnants if no1 ever hits you. But than if no1 could hit you than you don't need any defense in the first place lol
More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.
I was also wondering about this, OP makes sense, I want to go minions but I don't want to go infernalist/fire damage, seems like blood mage passives are very meh.
bring back to poe2 5 flask and mageblood. Very fun builds with mb.

I got to the end of Act 2 and completed the trial. Much to my delight I get 2 ascendancy points. What's that? Casting one curse kills me now? Oh. Hmm... ok I'll wait till I've got the spell leech, that'll help right?

Completed the chaos trial last night. HOORAY! I can try out my new class now! What's that? Oh, the spell leech does nothing to balance the hp loss on every single cast. Glad I got to lvl 47 and have to reroll my character now. That's very fulfilling gameplay.

Ya going any more than 1 point into the bloodmage ascendency is literally a debuff.
If the first skill also increased hp from all scourses it would feel alot better, its so hard to get enough hp
This Passive must be ( Convert 50% Mana cost to Life cost ) and Life cost when use any skill must count as damage taken (for can recovery from damage taken).
