what class you gonna play and why?
I'm 100% going something ranged and something fast, so probably Ranger I guess? Every time I look at some melee footage it just looks super slow and clunky to me
Ninja.

Probably sorc, but it depends how life sustain looks in general. Relying on pots for sustain in boss fights looks kind of brutal so blood mage might end up being an option.

" hmm...i might try out infernalist with SRS |

I know melee is fools gold 99.99 percent of the time...but...
I think I'm going warrior, shield charge, hoping there is a shield toss to go with it. There's less enemies coming at the player, and defense seems more important than in POE1. |

I wanna try all the classes, but 1st i'm going Sorc.
I like hurling fireballs and zapping things. bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

Where is my cyclone???
I always play cyclone only lol, would love to see it in PoE2 at launch! |

melee mercenary maybe.
poe2 got separated from poe1 to accommodate melee, so i really need to see how good melee is in this game. [Removed by Support]

Mercenary because I like to shoot grenades and explode everything.
As for ascendancy- Witchhunter. 20 weapon set points, culling, decimating strike, and explody node. |

Monk for me. It's a bit of story....
Spoiler
Way back in the before times (1982 or so), I first got my hands on the player's handbook for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (which I guess would be the 1st edition now). It had all the usual stuff, clerics, wizards, rangers, and such, but it also had a monk class. I was intrigued. How well did an eastern-style kung-fu monk fit into the Tolkienesque D&D milieu?
Not well, it turns out; AD&D's monk was kinda ass to play (mainly because the class was stuck with D4's for hit dice). But terrible execution didn't mean the concept was bad... right? Like, surely it should have been possible to do this properly. And thus began the quest. Sure, AD&D had an Oriental Adventures supplement, which was... interesting, but still unsatisfying. Diablo's Hellfire expansion had a "monk" option, which was also unsatisfying. And so on, and so on... So far, Diablo III's monk came the closest, with its extremely thematic skill options (Exploding Palms! Seven-Sided Strikes! Way of the Hundred Fists!) but the game had so many flaws that it was still unsatisfying. I mean, they only built half of the monk's resource model for that game; doubling the numbers twice still didn't make it good. And so the search continues... until, maybe, December the 6th. Because PoE2's monk looks awesome. So yeah, monk. And then Warrior (make mine melee!). And then Witch (demoness form?), and then Sorceress (chronomancer?), and then maybe Mercenary, if the Druid hasn't been added yet. Stay sane, exiles!
