👑 POE2 Guilds 👑 Its now confirmed you will have to re-buy everything (clip included in thread)

so they don't have time now ? will they have it before launch ?

The only thing I could think of as a work around would be to contact support and see if there is a way they would "credit" the Guild Leader with shop coins so they can rebuy the stash tabs. I would hope that it will be fixed one day, but I know it isnt going to be high on the list for awhile.

Probably going to get a couple main tabs, like currency and unique for the guild to share resources and go from there when there is more information.

So that's that then all the points completely wasted. I even recently got new tabs in my guild based on the fact we were told it would be in PoE2

This sucks.

The fact that MTXs transfer over from PoE to PoE 2 is pretty extraordinary and more or less unprecedented, so I can't find it within myself to be real mad over this. But as we were told that guild tabs would transfer over, I can't say that I'm happy about this either.

I think GGG should really rethink this.

I dont think they said it will never transfer over. It just wont happen right now. Remember this is still early access, we are a long time away from a full release. Give it time. While I understand wanting it now and it will be beneficial if you had it. I would rather them work towards getting the full game done then using resources on tabs for a guild.

You can still help people out and trade resources. When guilds are created you still get a few tabs (if I remember right). You just wont have some convivence, as of right now.

He said that they would have to merge the POE1 and POE2 guilds together, which he is not against. They just do not have the resources to do it. Which means it isnt happening right now and he cant give a timeframe. Not that it will never happen.

He also said it isnt a policy decision but a technical decision.

Everyone wants everything to happen and be available right now. We are going into early access the game is not released yet. Give them time. People need to stop treating Dec 6th as the full release of POE2 and that everything GGG said would happen has to happen by the 6th

But its a new game. Im already happy my personal mtx and tabs will work in poe2, since those are tied to my actual account specifically.

If guilds have to bite the dust for PoE2, im totally ok with that. But will still hope that we can get it coded in during the beta or maybe another solution in the end.

It just seems more complicated because the guilds dont exist in PoE2 right? ppl have to make them, its a different game after all. So its prob trickier to somehow convert that stuff if actual EXISTING guilds as a whole wont be just copy pasted into the brand new game.

Also gives everyone a chance at guild names just like character names in PoE2 not carrying over being reserved.
