This isn't a leveling guide so a lot of what is here isn't open til the end. However, pure ED/contagion is not a great way to level. It's clunky and has horrible boss damage, especially if it's your first character. I did it 3 times but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

The great thing about The Lich is that she’ll be an SSFHC ascendancy.
She gets 2 curses by default, plus 1 from the skill tree — that’s more than enough.
We no longer need a ring with +1 curse, which is a huge buff for us.

5. Magnified

40 Spirit
Grim Feast + Clarity.
We need ES and Mana.

So now, having 202 Spirit is a mandatory requirement to be stress-free Lich.
