Path of exile 2 menu no fps limit burning my GPU and CPU

Same problem here. my monitor is a wide screen one with a refresh rate of 120hz, whenever i play poe2 the PC went crazy and noisy with all the fans running at 100% and the temp of GPU was at around 85° to 90°C. it was always the same no matter what config in POE2 graphics option is set.
The problem was solved by changing the refresh rate of the monitor from 120hz to 60hz.

I had the same problem, since the latest patch.
Setting max foreground fps to 60 and background to 30
and enabling adaptiv V-sync did it for me.
Went from 100 to a peak of 80%.
