Same problem...
My config : AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor Windows 11 Professionnel : 24H2 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 I read on the forum that they never patch the same issues on PoE1, while aware of the issue ? So maybe i should ask for a refund...? :( |

i tried that, but when i found essence league mechanic monsters same thing happened, pc just shut down... :(

FFS guys... some bs for the people that are working, I don't care about ingame bugs, randomn crashes or delays but this kind of issues especially since they've been present before are a piss take...

same issue here. Hard crashes on loading screens between locations or while entering game. Yesterday I switched to Vulkan and played for 6 hours. Today it is crashing again.

I'm having the same issue with the game hard locking my PC on loading screens. My specs are an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F with an Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti running the Nvidia 566.36 Game Ready driver released yesterday. Completely fresh install of Windows 11 24H2.

I literally cannot play. Logged in this morning to try out Vulkan, instant freeze up on first loading screen. Then with dx12 i get into town but freeze up again wehn i try to portal into a zone. Absolutely unacceptable. Kinda sad to see no response or acknowledgement on probably the biggest bug report thread so far.
Running 7800x3d, 4070ts, nvme ssd, 32gb ram (pc is 2 months old) Also on windows 24H2 Is there any fix coming today or does EU need to wait until tonight for something to happen? |

Guys, this is most likely CPU issue (x3d) and Windows 24H2. I am afraid no GPU or Bios driver will fix this. GGG has to look into this.
I’m trying a potential workaround by reducing the CPU cores assigned to Path of Exile (PoE) in Task Manager—cutting them by half or so. I’ve read this somewhere it might stop the PC from completely freezing, so only the game crashes instead, which is at least better. I’ll test this out and let you know if it works. I get this 50% of the time when launching the game It happens when the little gear animation starts as it's loading after hitting Log In. Total PC lock up, whole OS locks and have to hard reset. If I can get past this it the runs flawless. i7 11700K, 3070, 32gb 3600, 24H2

5 hard lockups and about 7-10 CTD.

turning off multithreading fixed an issue for me (at least for now).
It is shitty workaround but still something. I have 20fps in town and ~70 fps on maps. |
