Hard crashing PC locks up

"
This is what fixed the issue for me - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3408111/page/27. I am running an Intel 13700K, and setting the Performance Core Ratio down to 50 solved all of my issues. Before this I didn't last more than 2 minutes before I crashed to Desktop.

This thread is not about a crash to desktop

Just google it. It was everywhere in the news. This post has a statement from Intel, there is no "fakenews" about it.
How I know its THIS issue? Was affected by it in POE1: Random crashes on loadingscreens. Sometimes it was fine for hours, sometimes every load crashed. Replaced CPU by Intel RMA - not a single problem anymore.
You will get the same behavior with unstable memory, happend on my new setup and I fixed it by adjusting the RAM settings.

Just Google bro..../s
Yeah, that Intel has it's problems with processors is a known fact.
But why then is AMD crashing as well?
And I doubt that the architecture - especially with the X3 are alike.
Just reposting a working fix Kapps made from a few pages back - https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher

This gets detected as a virus...
I had the same thing happen to me, all the people gas-lightning saying that "games don't kill any hardware" are just not knowledgeable enough.

I have a pretty ok computer, i7-9700 3.6GHz, 32gb RAM, 3080 GPU

Managed to play any game i've thrown at it recently at basically highest graphics

After the loading screen in PoE2 where the character jumps in the water, my PC crashed and would not start again. After about 3h of tinkering, BIOS safe boots and just waiting, the PC started again but now the disk with PoE2 is bricked, i cannot even right click it without totally freezing Explorer

Unfortunately this post is for a different issue with AMD X3D chips crashing pc during the load screen. I think people don't understand that there can be different issues with the game and the post title is a bit generic.
I've been having these loading screen lockups but about a week ago i also started suffering from what seemed to be shaders not being able to be properly compiled which caused micro stuttering and lag spikes and also froze my pc just by idling in town.

I was on 23H2 but with the latest set of updates.

I bit the bullet and reformatted to an earlier version of 23H2 and at least the shader error loop seems to be gone. I could only test for a few hours yesterday.

But I still observed those hard 100% spikes on my CPU during loading so will still need to limit the amount of threads the game has access too.

I was just desperate to try everything i could to be able to play the game smoothly again before the holidays comes around.

Sorry i can't help more.
