Hard crashing PC locks up
" Shroud and PirateSoftware have spoken on this issue. They have also spent a lot of time on it, not just "some people crash". As far as I know only these two were vocal about it. I'll add if there are people missing. I know who has not spoken from my watchlist: Asmongold Bellular DarthMicrotransaction Raxxanterax All used to be people I would at least check their opinions on games. I especially trusted DarthMicrotransaction and Raxxanterax because they were very vocal on how bad Diablo 4 was when every single Blizzshill was endlessly praising the game while we were suffering through the most barren endgame imaginable. After this I'll treat them the same as IGN. Although Asmongold might be on the clear because nowadays he doesn't really play much so... He has an excuse. The others however... Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. |

Having to hard reset my computer 2 or 3 times a day because of this is painful.

" Use PoEUncrasher until they patch this and you're fine. |

" Well it is actually the norm. When your game has a bug that does not allow paid customers to play it for a long period of time, you make it up to your players. Generally this is done via providing MTX currency. Unfortunately for GGG the issue has gone far too long and the vacation bit soured the situation further so the amount they should give based on other similar cases has become an incredible number. It is their decision to either face the music or just downplay it. In my opinion they will decide to try downplaying it but then this PR nightmare will never end for GGG. "Important people"-we all know who- at Tencent have been asking questions and putting pressure on Sixjoy. On a side note it is good to know that you agree on the other points I have made. " Yeah, only an idiot would disagree that this should've been fixed before they all left on vacation but it's clear the issue may be more complicated on their end than it may seem to us. I couldn't play this game at all the first few days because of the crashes. I've since used PoEUncrasher ever since it was released and haven't crashed once. I'm now on 150 hours played. " It's amazing to me that people dont think downloading some random exe from github and using it on a live service game isnt a recipe for getting permanently banned it might be fine but unless the developers specifically say it is OK to use youre just asking for trouble Do not waste the remainder of thy life in thoughts about others -Marcus Aurelius 167 A.C.E. " It isn't a recipe for getting banned, why would it be? The only thing it does is change the process affinity, which you can do manually. If your argument is that it may be doing something else, the program is open source, you can check the source and compile yourself. That said, I don't use it, I just set affinity manually. But I see no problems in using something like that. And there's no need to "ask developers". GGG has no say in you choosing which cores in your processor you want to use in the game. IGN: vieira
